Simply draped the line of lights over the door frame inside the closet and secured with the stickyback. The remote sits on a bookshelf right next to the closet door, and the lights are plugged into an outlet near the door. The lights are bright enough to light up my whole closet in a way a ceiling light wouldn't have been able to do.
