What a brilliant resource book, a must have for all knitters who want to expand their stitch library. Whether you cable, lace want inspiration for edges or enjoy colourwork then you need look no further as there are hundreds of ideas all in one book.This book is unique as it has charts as well as written instructions for knitting flat and in the round, something I have never seen before. It also categorises the number of pattern repeats so the knitter can mix and match the patterns easily.The photography is excellent and the layout makes all patterns easy to follow.This book is a well used one in my library.Monica Russel (Knitting Designer)

I went straight to the index to find the pattern for a stitch that I know the name of, there is no index. The patterns do not appear alphabetically either.It's a comprehensive book and covers methods in every way possible apart from sideways, but, there is no index.

A book for knitters - beginners and experienced. Wide variety of stitches that everyone will find catches their interest. I have another of the author' s books and I love it.

This is a fabulous book with every imaginable knitting stitch. Explanations and photos are great. Even beginners will be able to follow the instructions.

Ive been looking for a book that has many varieties of patterns squares that can be made into blankets, shawls, scarfs etc. Great reference book.

I found this book in the library and wanted to have my own copy. It showed each stitch flat, bottom up , top down and round. I used to get the pattern and tried to figure out how to knit round or top down. This book is great help.
