JovanCologne Spray, Silky Rose, 3 Ounce

I got the trio a few months ago from this seller and I love it! They're Super UNISEX!!!I'm so glad I got this one. I am not a lover of rose scents but this one is quite nice. Silky Rose is not prominently "rosy", rather it is sweet and fruity, but mildly sweet, not as sticky sweet as the majority of fruitchouli fragrances, while also not falling into the powdery or tea rose range. This and Secret Amber fill a nice little spot in my collection, for when I want to spray something on that smells really, really nice, not boring...but not overpowering either, and not serious or expensive or particularly attention-grabbing. The longevity is incredible for the price, but that can be said for all three of them. The Jovan Oriental Collection was really fun to try.One thing more deserves mention.... these Jovans layer together like a DREAM!

Some say this fragrance is a little old timey. But I find it seductive and flirty.

Smells fantastic! I love Jovan Rose better than the original. I will buy again.

But not a fruity floral as we've come to know it in the modern age. The usual Mall Floral of berries and flowers that you find in many celebrity scents in this case comes across instead as a vintage blend. It's a pulpy orange juice fragrance over a candied rose, and it really makes me think of classic 70s scents, somehow. It is very linear, not changing at all as it dries down and upon full dry down it's gone like it never existed, so longevity is a bit lacking. Still, for the cheap price, it's a fun scent, more fruity floral than rose, more floral than gourmand and rather delightful as we near warmer weather.

I've purchased several Jovan scents before and this one is a lot like the " White Musk ". It's nice scent that is not over powering. I like this one because I do not have any rose scents that I could wear that were complimentary to my body chemistry and did not give me headaches, etc. ( I unfortunately am a person who suffers with chronic nasal and sinus problems and am very sensitive to scents and must be careful what I chose to wear).I can wear this scent without problems and have received several compliments, just as I've received with the White Musk.
