The media could not be loaded.  I had to invest into a lot of office things since I’ll be working at home for a while... a laptop stand was one of them. At first I bought the folding one cause I wasn’t sure what the difference would be and after getting it I realized it couldn’t stand upright like I needed it too so I went And bought this one.. I need it for my portable monitor more than a laptop cause my portable monitor doesn’t stand on its own.The quality of this stand is superb!!! Way beyond what I expected it to be. It’s made of very heavy duty materials and needs a lot of muscle strength to open or adjust which I find to be good cause the folding one will collapse on me 5 times a day! This one is Very study and reliable. It doesn’t move, wobble and is definitely not flimsy!!The cost was more than reasonable for the quality and functionality of it as you can see in my video it can stand my monitor upright as I Need it to be. I can’t work with my monitor laying at a very low angle. This stand has been a real game changer when it comes to office equipment and I recommend this over the folding one if you have a portable monitor... for a laptop this is great for adding extra work space to your desk! You can prop it up higher giving you the work space for work books and more. There are very good grip pads underneath the stand and on top where the monitor or laptop sits to ensure it will not fall off or move while using it. There is vents where The laptop sits to allow ventilation so the laptop won’t over heat. There is some weight to this stand but that’s to be expected with high quality materials, yet light enough and portable enough to carry in back pack or tote and not break your back.My son often steals this stand while doing school online cause he also uses a portable monitor. I will be buying one of these now that I know it’s worth and quality!!! This was by far one of the best home office upgrades I did for myself and Will buy one again.

This laptop stand works great, and the price is unbeatable! It’s very sturdy and adjustable. I love the low profile of the “lips” supporting the front of the laptop, since most other brands have a higher lip that would make it more difficult to type.The only things I don’t love are 1) it is almost too sturdy that it’s very hard to adjust the angle. I’m hoping with time that will get better. And 2) be very careful with the angle. You need the legs to make a z shape or it will be very top-heavy and fall over. Fortunately I was very careful when adjusting and didn’t drop my laptop, but I easily could have. So keep the weight of the laptop centered over the lower base.

This stand props my laptop up for Zooming so the camera is more at the level of my eyes rather than pointing up my nose. It's quite stiff but that's OK because I don't worry that it is suddenly going to collapse and dump my laptop. I can stand for a while to break the monotony of sitting, but I'm a major mouse user (don't like a touch pad) so it isn't a perfect solution for me unless I move the mouse on the wrist rest of the laptop. I like that this is vented so I don't feel like I have to worry my laptop will overheat. There is nothing chintzy about this - it's very well made. I haven't tipped it over once, which is remarkable for someone as unpredictable as I can be. BUY THIS ONE. You won't regret it.

I'm very happy how this stand holds my laptop above and just behind two 24 inch LED monitors. See the photos and next few sentences. The stand base slid in from behind and holds the laptop display just above the LED monitor. With an external keyboard and mouse this saves space. The stand is steady, however, I use a motorized desk that raises or lowers for to stand or sit. For that extra little peace of mind, I placed a 2 pound hand weight on the base (shown in the photos).This stand is strong, versatile, sturdy and made from high quality aluminum. The joints require two hands and medium strength to pivot, a good thing because it will hold the position.My wife also has one - we're both very impressed.

Laptop stands have come a LONG way since I first used them -- back then, they were made of plastic and were in a fixed position. This particular stand, however, is made of hinged aluminum, making it lightweight and surprisingly sturdy. The height and angle can be adjusted at will, and what I had learned from a friend of mine, it can also be used to position a PROJECTOR at the desired angle.The aluminum and holes at the bottom keep the stand itself very cool to the touch and helps the laptop (or projector) to dissipate heat.

So happy with this purchase. Everyone in our family is tall and we all do school or work from home since covid. Over time we have figured out the easiest way and most confortable use our laptops is to set it them a box and use a bluetooth keyboard and mouse. Helps avoid the neckstrain and the elevation works better for zoom calls. Then I found this stand on Amazon. Game changer. It's really sturdy and can fold up to be transported. We just bought one to start with, but three more have been ordered.

I’m not sure if everyone had the same experience as me. I noticed the quality is awesome (the stand itself feels very sturdy and heavy); however, it’s really difficult to adjust its height/angle. I’m not sure if I need to spray the hinges with some oil, but I have to apply a lot of strength to move it to the best position. I would buy one that has similar quality but adjust with more ease.
