**Q: I typically wear an xl in standard shirts, but i want a little more room. Should i go down a size for big and tall?**
A: Check the size chart. I normally wear an XLT, but find the Wranglers sizing a bit skimpy, however, it _is_ true to what is in the chart.

**Q: what is the depth of the pocket?  can pocket hold a cell phone and button the pocket?**
A: Depth of pocket = 5" Button x 5" wide; 6" unbutton x 5" wide.  Can not hold cell phone (button).

**Q: Would this shirt work well for welders?**
A: 42 years with many welding processes, 100% cotton twill will arrest flames and USUALLY protect from burns, even dual/core wire. Users experience will make the difference.  These shirts are my go-to since Duluth discontinued their all cotton twill.  They lasted 11 years.  Excellent UV and heat radiation shielding.  My Riggs test shirt has performed flawlessly for two months.  Includes thousands of hot chip hits from turning/milling processes.  Just ordered 10 more tan for the warm seasons ahead.

**Q: i have 49 in waist, chest,  any ideas on whats the best fit, with a little give for an undershirt please?**
A: 3XL was the size I wore when my waist size was a 44 and I had a rather large belly. I believe a 4XL should be just fine. 3XL will not give that room you want. I like wearing my shirts in my pants, if so a tall will help a lot if you also wear your shirts in your pants.

I have these shirts in multiple colors. I like the denim color the most, just like a pair of faded jeans. The black is very black, and the blue is very dark, almost like a washed out black. Burgundy is nice, the green and tan are okay but look more like uniform work shirts color wise.The shirt is cut well, some shirts in this category are shapeless. They don't wrinkle, just fold or hang up out of the dryer, like blue jeans.The material is heavy, like thick denim and will hold up in the field. It can be a bit hot during the summer.Important for me is the shirt tails are the right length to stay tucked in. I am six feet, 189 lbs. and a size large is perfect. I prefer a shirt with a button down collar and long sleeves, with the sleeves rolled up and tails tucked in.I also like having two sturdy pockets and a pocket for a pen or pencil. Saves me from loosing my pen when I bend down for something.Like the headline says for me these are perfect and check every category. Button down collar, wrinkle free and comfortable, well tailored, good colors, two pockets, very durable for trade work but also look good for casual wear, and shirt tails that stay tucked in!
