Worked great in over a little 12 hours
Works great! Just as others said, the ants were immediately running out of the mound to pick up the bait, I put it on around 3:30 or 4, checked the next morning and thereโs no signs of ants in them! I believe I over estimated the 2-5 spoons they recommended and just sprinkled to my heart desire, so the ants didnโt take it all down their tunnels. My dog and I play in the yard multiple times a day and she has not gone near it or even tried to sniff, same with my cat, I usually monitor while outside and she also was near the area of one of the mounds and did not care to go over to it, so Iโd say itโs safe for pets in that sense. I didnโt smell any anything when pouring, the last brand I used had an awful smell, it did the trick but if the winds going, youโre turning your head to get away, but not with this one! The granules are bright yellow which I like so it will be easier for me to get any remaining granules so I donโt have to worry about the animals ever trying to ingest.Overall, as said it worked perfectly in over a little 12 hours all mounds clear, some huge mounds and some small, we had about 5 of them in the play zone and walk zone that needed to be handled quickly. I seen a lot of reviews from Texas, this is in Jacksonville, FL if it matters or curious! Just regular ol mean fire ants in a dirt mound!

Great Ant Killer
This stuff works very well. I live in a retirement community, and fire ants are not welcome here, I will buy more, if more is needed in the future. When I do long walks around the community, I carry a ziplock bag of Amdro with me. People here are very happy with the results.

Works.
Sprinkled some on a mound, disturbed the ants a bit, woke up the next morning to check on it, all the little bits were gone. Poked the nest with a stick, a few ants came out, but VERY little compared to the day before. Put a few more shakes of the stuff on the nest to get the stragglers. Stuff clearly works. Went ahead and treated the areas around my drive way and garage. Die!!!

Pretty good

This removes nests very well.
I hate fire ants, mainly because I always find them. This product seems to work on other ant types as well, but probably not all.I wait until I get some dry weather, then sprinkle this on and around the bed, then Iโll disturb the bed with a stick. This works for 2 reasons, you get to immediately watch the ants take it into their nest and also F those guys! All ant beds are empty within 24 hours and Iโve worked on some decent size beds so far.

Best for Fire Ants we have found
We live in Texas, and fire ants are terrible in our area. We tried many different baits, sprays, and treatments before finding this product. It does exactly what it says. I can sprinkle a little on a mound and it is all quiet within hours. It works well as a barrier control too, and on just about every type of ants.

Large Carpenter Black Ants Colony Collapsed After 3 days of treatment
I had an ant mole hill in the backyard with two failed treatments. The carpenter ant colony refused to budge. Amdro Granules let the worker ants bring the flake to their queen and killed the queen. Barely 3 days and the ant mole hill collapsed, gone. Great product!
User
Varieties works as the best method this is one of the best of three types.
Totally works until the ant adapts then it is good to have a variety of back ups.
