We wanted a very easy nappy bin, nothing too fancy or very expensive that required specific bags. This does the job very well. It does trap odours, so bedroom remains smell free. You do get a whiff of bad smell when you open the lid to remove the bag but we empty it every 2-3 days so it is not terrible. I also give the bin a little clean with a Milton wipe which helps with any lingering smells. My only criticism/preference would be that I would like the top to lock, so when we move the bin we don’t give opening it. But that’s a personal preference. Very happy with our purchase.

I think this product is really serving the purpose for which it was purchased. It's really holding the odor, and I've only been using it for a week now. I'm going to come back and update my review as time goes on, but for now, it's a nice product.

Love this nappy bin because you can use any bin bag inside, you don’t have to buy expensive branded ones. I find 25L or 30L ones are best. It traps the smell inside and is really easy to use one handed during a change, and really quick to empty the bin and change the bin bag. Previous nappy bins I’ve had were fiddly and ugly, but this looks nice in the room. It also holds more than other bins I’ve had, so you don’t have to empty it as often. It’s a bit more expensive outright than other bins, but far cheaper in the long run once you factor in the cost of branded nappy bin bags from the other bins!

I have nothing to compare this to, but it seems like a decent bin which is containing smells well. That being said, we have a newborn so the poops don't have a particularly powerful scent, so time will tell. The thing I don't like is that because of the way the flap (not the lid) is designed, if you put a thicker bin bag in it the flap has a tendency to snag on the bin bag. This would have been easily avoidable had the designer given more clearance between the flap and the rim that holds the bin bag in place. This is not a deal breaker given the relatively decent price and can be solved by pushing the flap down and letting it go a couple of times (when using a thicker bag) or by using thinner bags.

Do not recommend at all. It doesn’t keep the smell away and just noticed it just cracked on the bottom but it hasn’t been dropped or anything. Ridiculous price to pay for a nappy bin that doesn’t even last 2 months

Great alternative to cartridge bin as can use standard bin bags. Keeps out the smell have used for 8 months now, well worth the purchase

Aesthetically pleasing and practical - perfect for the nursery & thought through. It considers keeping smells blocked away and ease of removing bin bag when full!

Durable, found it to trap smells, we have had a couple heatwaves over the last 2 months and even still didn’t find that the bun smelt. Also much cheaper to use than other brands that need the specific bags. Great value overall and super simple to use.

This bin has a flap inside it that you push down to put the nappy inside. Practically this means that you can only full the bin half way before it prevents the flap from opening (and it's already a very small bin). You also end up with baby poop on the flap. We bought the ubbi nappy bin as well, far better design. Can fit way more in before you need to change it and you don't get poop all over it.

There was no sample bin liners included as mentioned in the description. Good size. Not too sturdy. I haven't used it yet so will see how it holds up.
