TLDR; BUY IT!I had been searching EVERYWHERE for a cage suitable for a rat I rescued. Nobody had anything that was slightly good for under $300 and since I didn't really intend to have a rat fall into my hands I didn't have an extra few hundreds laying around for a cage. But I happened upon this one and decided there's no way it could be as good as the reviews said but I was so wrong! I ordered and received within 3 days when everything else was 2 weeks + to ship. Got it inside at 9:30am and had it finished by 10am. Put it together by myself with no issues. (I do recommend watching the YouTube video for visual instructions but it's really simple.) Cookie had to spend a few days in a pretty bare cage until we could make the trip to the pet store (who also didn't have a lot of stuff) but we finally got a few things to keep her busy as well as comfy. She loves her cage and I love how large and well made it is! The rat cage calculator says it can fit up to 5 rats but we will only be adding 2 more ladies to this one. We may even purchase a second cage for more! IMO it's best for 3-4 adult rats (bar spacing is iffy for small rats) , maybe 2 ferrets at most , or do away with the shelves and it would make a fair bird cage! I highly recommend this cage!

I was looking for a decent rat cage for months and most were super expensive. The cages that weren't expensive always had bad reviews, but this one’s reviews seemed okay.So I bought the cage and it was really easy to put together. The cage came with a nice bowl and a water bottle. It is about 4 feet tall and pretty large. It is perfect for my 2 female rats. I would not get this cage for tiny / young rats but it is perfect for adult rats.I would NOT recommend this cage for animals that are strong enough to push hard. If you push hard on the doors, it leaves enough space for the animal to squeeze through and possibly even get hurt.I definitely recommend trying this cage out, I love it!

First off it came within two days of it being ordered even though it was an expected week wait that’s just insane thank y’all so much. It is extremely hardy metal yet soft incase it’s chewed. I was capable of getting a third rat because of this cage and as you can see she is very small compared to my other two and still can’t squeeze out of the bars. It’s def four foot something in height. I am 5’4 and it’s shoulder length I went ahead and added that pic in but not only that. I recorded a video of assembly and I wish it’d let me post it in total it took 11 minutes and is self explanatory. So 10/10 if you going to be littering the cage with Timothy hay or pine then ide suggest getting a mini broom and dust pan for cleaning to make it easier and a maybe bathroom mat even large enough to put under it!!! So dang amazing once again thank you to this company my rats will now be very happy have mega space and plenty of exercise. For the price as well I forgot to mentioned don’t sleep on this deal!

*** Update*** Company is sending replacement parts. When I receive they will go up to 5 starts for sure.Old post- The cage is big, sturdy and easy set to put together. I love the cage but the plastic platforms that the ramps snap into came broken and cracked. Inspect them when you first open because 3 are messed up and didn’t realize until I out together the whole cage. If the seller replaces the ramps I’ll change my review. As of right now I rate the experience a 2. The cage could be 5 stars. Good luck.

Cage arrived in 2 days!! I did put it together by myself and I'm a 68 yr old woman. The directions are not the best so you just need to go slow and think about it and don't tighten all screws until you are done and then go back & tighten all. I did it as it was lying on the floor and then stood it up when completed.I had trouble inserting the wheels all the way so just did the best I could.Also you have to click in the ladder to the shelf before you install. I'm pleased with the size of this cage for the low price. I only have 1 ferret but it is big enough for 2. My big problem: my wonderful litter pan (Marshalls High Back) will not fit thru the door. I did remove the bottom pan and put it in that way then slid the pan under it. But that is a huge pain. The doors are trickie to open and close so for those reasons i returned the cage.

I saw the price and looked at at a couple reviews, so I took a chance. The cage is not as wide as I thought but it makes up for that in height. I guess if I had to pick one thing i don’t like it’ll have to be the bottom of the cage. With two playful ferrets and the fact that they poop in corners, as u can imagine things can get a little messy. To combat that for now I put cardboard along the bottom(looking for better solution). It’s easy to put together and it has wheels so that makes it easier to move around. Also, it comes with a water bottle(small) and food bowl(decent size).

Order arrived much earlier than expected! I bought it for my two dumbo rats. They are still young so I knew there was a chance it wouldn’t work until they’d grown. I was right. My little Bianca immediately figured out how to scale the outside. Oddly enough she only went outside the cage to go to another level but still this isn’t safe. But it will be perfect once their grown. Easy to set up, surprisingly sturdy and overall a great product.

The cage arrived broken the bars where bent and the plastic bottom was cracked amd doesn't fit properly. It's poor quality and the bars are weak. The side pieces have alot of play. I attempted to return this and was told it would cost close to $70 for shipping . I could buy another cage for that amount . Do Not Buy very disappointed
