I bought these jars to make homemade candles. I'm very happy with my purchase! I will lay out my thoughts in an easy-to-read format for your convenience.Pros:-They have a cute shape.-The jars were packaged well in shipping, and I received my set in perfect condition.-The glass seems fairly thick.-The metal lids are a beautiful gold finish and fingerprint-proof.-The lids have a circle of rubber on the inside to create an air-tight seal.-The tops of the lids are raised around the edge, so the jars are stackable. You can also place the jar onto its lid without it slipping off.-They're a great value for the price!Cons:-The jars have a slightly-raised "seam" down the side from the glass mold. However, it's less than 1 mm wide, and it's only noticeable if you're looking for it in bright lighting.My advice to you -- make sure that you understand the jar size you'll be getting. They are 9 oz, 2.5" wide and 4" high. They're pretty small, and they're perfect for my uses.

These are fantastic mason jars. I used them in a project where I organized my spices. They have nice wide mouths for easy scooping and came nicely packaged. I'm reordering more because I can't seem to stop at just one organizational project! I highly recommend this brand and these particular Mason Jars.

I bought these to store herbs and spices in a shallow drawer. Applied round stickers as labels. They look great. The other benefit vs the metal tins is that the screw top is easy to open.

***Update!***I contacted the seller and they where fantastic! They where extremely fast to get back to me and are sending out replacement lids. Great customer service!I was so excited to receive these jars, and I loved them until I noticed that something was amiss. I thought at first it might be that they where packaged upside down, but on closer inspection I realized that four of the jars where missing their lids! This was a very sad revelation as they where the perfect size and shape for my intended use. The lids screw on well (well the jars that have lids that is) and the outside of the jar is nice and smooth. I purchased the 8oz jars with gold lids.

Being the only one in my household on a low carb diet, I always have too much of each recipe I make. I use these jars for freezing or storing small portions of things I make, or for leftover portions of canned pumpkin or other recipe items. The lids screw on easily, the jars have a wide enough mouth to be able to fill them easily, and they stack nicely. I've used them in the microwave and the dishwasher safely. Haven't tried them in the oven, but presume they would do well with individual custards baked in a water bath. They are just the right size, and I find I'm using them daily for one thing or another. Very glad I purchased these little jars.

I've ordered 2 sets of these for making baby food for my son (we prefer glass over plastic when possible). They work great for this and hold up just fine being frozen as well as heated up for him prior to feeding. They go through the dish washer fine as well. Overall pleased with our purchase.

I am a beginner in canning, and didn't realize that you can't can with the all in one lids that these jars come with. That said, I have had no problem canning with these jars, using separately purchased 2-piece lids and collars. Then I use the lids that came with these jars once the canned jars have been opened and are in use, so we don't have to struggle with the 2-piece collar and lid.

These are really handy. I purchased some round 4 oz glass containers (they were more like small bowls) with plastic lids a while back, and the lids keep leaking in my lunchbag, which is super annoying. So when I saw these with the better shape, and screw top, I knew they would be more secure. I use them for bringing hummus, yogurt, and small snacks to work almost every day. excellent quality. Love that they are glass.

These jars are good quality and look nice.
