BlomusSoap Dish, Rail, Polished

I purchased one of these soap dishes for my bathroom counter and liked it so much a got a few more. Although it works great on a dry kitchen or bathroom counter, I tried it in the shower and had some problems. First, it slides off a shower surface very easily when it gets wet ( I got hit in the toe once-ouch!) Also, it fills up with water under the rack and the soap gets all slimy, I try to remember to drain it, but who wants an extra step when you are rushing out in the morning. I do recommend if it is being used on a flat dry counter, but not in the shower.

Its perfectly stainless steel, eco-long lasting and great looking. I like the anti slide pad underneath but its a bummer what can get under it and get a little slimy. People are saying they have had rust after a short amount of time. I purchased mine a few months back and not one rust spot. I clean it out very rarely too. Its next to my sink. I do love the look and how well the rail holds it out of the water. The only downside to me is the cost. I want another one cause I love it so much but my husband thinks its ridiculous to spend this much money on a soap dish, haha. Otherwise its the perfect dish in my opinion.

I'm using this dish to drain/dry my kitchen dish sponge, but it would be at home in a bathroom as well. The Dobie I store in it fills it up pretty well so if you're looking to drain something bigger than a Dobie, this is probably not the right size.I purchased this for the looks of it, and I am not disappointed. It is minimal and simple without being cheap or flimsy.It has a thin, dense foam pad underneath to keep it from sliding around which works quite well, at least on my stainless sink.The rack is a completely separate piece of metal from the dish itself -- if you grab it and turn it upside down the rack will simply drop out. This makes cleaning very, very easy.It feels hefty and durable -- I've had mine for about a year and there's no sign of rust or discoloration. It's an attractive and substantial accessory!

We have been using this soap dish for about a month and it is working well for us. A couple of things attracted us to the product: the "no slip" rubber piece on the bottom and the looks. Hopefully this item doesn't "rust" like a Blomus soap dispenser we bought a number of years ago. The main drawback of the item is the price. That is what German "quality" costs (although it is made in China".

This soap dish tray is great. Can someone really care about a soap dish? I guess so ...It's nicely made, looks good, nice quality, doesn't stain. Easy to keep clean and convenient to use.I found it surprisingly hard to find a nice soap dish trap in this design (a grate over a tray to catch the soap suds and water.)Keeps the sink tidy and dry, saves clean-up time.

This soap dish is heavier than what I expected. Afraid if it accidentally falls into the tub it could nick it. When my bathroom is renovated I will have to see how well it sits in the niche. However if you are looking for a nice soap dish with a padded rubber bottom, this dish is very nice.

First-off it's not polished, but rather brushed. Looks good, but would have preferred polished finish as advertised. Product was packaged very well, upon unwrapping the dish has some small scratches in the corners and a deep gouge in the center. Difficult to see when the soap is in the dish but certainly not perfect and appears to be finishing flaws from the factory as opposed to damage. Although the company is German the dish is made in China- likely the culprit of the finishing flaws. Called the company and they are sending a replacement- hopefully no flaws ion this one. Otherwise, nice looking and well designed. Rust issues others have noted will need some time in use and observation

Rubber on bottom is semi absorbent, so you have to make sure it's dried out periodically to keep the soap and water from giving it a bad smell. Other than that, all of the metal parts and rails are solid and is beautifully designed. Extra nice touch to a restroom with a modern flair.

Good quality

My first one is still going strong after maybe 8 years and I like it so much that I decided to get another one for another bathroom. This one rusted in 2 months. And return window has now closed. Surely there's something that can be done. Such a shame - I have many Blomus products bought 8-10 years ago but maybe their quality has taken a hit...

Corrispondono alle attese: sono ben assemblati, completamenta in acciaio spazzolato e fanno la loro figura.Con l'acqua tendono a macchiarsi, ma non è niente di irrimediabile. Basta pulirli e tornano a splendere.Possiedono gommini sulla base che evitano di strisciare le superfici su cui si appoggiano.

Sehr schöne hochwertige, schwere Seifenschale aus Edelstahl. Zweiteilig, innen liegt ein Gitterrost, so dass die Seife abtropfen kann und nicht aufweicht. Auf der Unterseite ist ein Gummi aufgebracht, damit es einen sicheren Stand auf dem Waschbecken hat, bisher auch nass noch nicht verrutscht. Meine Ausführung hat keine scharfen Kanten und ist auch gross genug für die Seife.Die Liefeung war absolut top und pünktlich wie angekündigt. Verpackung ausreichend und nicht beschädigt

Keine Seifenschale für die Reise, aber eine sehr solide und gut verarbeitete Seifenschale fürs Bad. Ausreichend dickes Edelstahl 18/10 - da sollte nichts rosten (ist bei uns bis jetzt auch nicht der Fall). Ein herausnehmbarer Edelstahleinsatz sorgt dafür, dass das Seifenstück nicht im Nassen liegt; das kann man ggf. auch mal in die Spülmaschine stecken. Die Schale selbst hat an der Unterseite eine Gummiauflage gegen Verrutschen - gut und notwendig, denn: Sollte die Schale abrutschen und ins Waschbecken oder die Badewanne fallen, sind je nach Material und Fallhöhe Schäden an der Sanitärkeramik recht wahrscheinlich.Vom Preis her sicher kein Superschnäppchen - Qualität kostet eben und bislang habe ich bei diesem Hersteller noch keinen Fehlgriff getan.
