Firstly, the base itself is not substantial enough to stop the phone bobbing around whilst on the move. It flexes and bends too easily (unlike my current Schoshe currently available for £14.95!). The second reason, also associated with the flexing of the mount, is the creaking and clicking originating from the fold down clamp. This, I suspect, is because the plastic is very shiny and therefore grips and releases in quick succession. We had to remove and return the clamp. As an aside... Ideally I'd like to buy just the ball-joint Magsafe mount to use with my existing stand. Much more environmentally friendly. Review: MP2WD-XTSP - The USA website states this is suitable for an iPhone 15. However, it won’t hold my phone which keeps falling off the holder. I now see that the desertcart site says it’s for 14 and below to 6s. I bought this because my brother had previously bought this model which works fine on his iPhone 15.
