I purchased this same battery A few years ago. We use out vacuum daily. It lasted 3 yrs. Seems like a decent product. Lasts as long as my Makita batteries I use for my business. Cheap cost and does the trick.

My house recently got struck by lighting and unfortunately took out the battery to my Dyson. After purchasing a new charging cord thinking that was the issue and it not resolving anything i decided to try and see if it was the battery. Sure enough it was and I am so happy it works now! The battery replacement was easy to install and the Dyson immediately started working. I have a Dyson V8 SV25 and it fit perfectly. I have not used the new battery enough to know if was worth the money, but i can tell you buying the replacement battery was definitely cheaper than having to purchase a whole new Dyson which is what i wanted to avoid.

Great replacement battery for my little Dyson hand vac. 100% works. If you’re swapping out Dyson batteries, just be aware that you can buy the wrong battery if you don’t pay attention. Thia item stopped taking a charge after 5 months. has a 12 month warranty but seller will not respond. so far Amazon has been no help as they say I have to deal with seller . Update 5/11 was contacted by seller and new Battery has been sent out. Let you know when I get it. Thank you for your help......

I bought my Dyson vacuum cleaner off of Facebook Marketplace and got a really good deal on it but it wouldn't hold charge for more than 2 minutes of use. I replace the battery with this battery and it works like a brand new vacuum cleaner.
