The Advanced Therapy is identical to the Gold except for three items: 1. It has two additional ingredients for scalp itching including zinc. 2. There is 50% more DHT blocker. So in short, unless you have allergies to the added ingredients, think of Advanced Therapy as Gold Plus. **Q: Why is this product better than the gold/blue label shampoo? All the reviews lately for the other products seems pretty poor** A: I have been using this brand and bottle for a few years now. They have changed the formula 3 times during that period. Compared to their other products this shampoo does a good job at maintaining thickness. That's what I do *by S***L on April 24, 2026* This has a very strong smell but if you want results you've got to put up with something. Sometimes I don't like I mean I don't mind the smell. If it's going to give me results I will say I love the conditioner. My hair is really shiny and feels so soft. I do leave it on. I wash my hair first. Of course when you get in the shower and I leave it on for a couple of minutes. While I do a couple of other things you know wash my face, do a little bit of shaving because I've had cancer. I my cancer medication cause a little bit of hair underneath my chin to grow. So I shave that take care of that and then after I do all that I rinse the shampoo out of my hair and then I put the conditioner on and I work that through my hair really well and then I wash my body. That's the two minutes that I leave it on then I rinse it off. I will say my I used to use the leave-in conditioner and it was fine. It was good but this makes my hair so smooth silky and shiny and that lasts for a few days. I don't use this daily. I don't believe in washing your hair everyday. I don't think that's healthy for your hair. I did notice today when I washed my hair. I keep a screen in the drain of the bathtub that there was less hair in the drain of the bathtub. Probably about half of what it used to be, so I think it's working. Yay! So I would recommend it if you aren't so sensitive to the smell. It is strong and I'm getting used to it.
