Super easy to set up and works great!
I am a novice camper and definitely want to try things out first. I bought this tent for an impromptu weekend getaway with my friend and it held out so well and made my trip such a great experience. It’s lightweight and spacious for its size to comfortably fit 2 adults who are not parents or maybe 3 if you can manage sleeping in a tighter space. Other more spacious tents I have seen are usually much bigger and heavier so there’s your tradeoff.. Setup was so easy and only took me 10 mins or so. The poles and interior materials are pretty solid for the price. I would recommend it!

Scout troop liked it
2 of the older scouts tried the tent and gave it thumbs up. It has more room than the MSR tents they normally use. It was sturdy in the wind and it setup quickly and easily. Not sure about long term durability.

Mostly a good product!
This tent is a nice, compact 17" long x 7" high/wide when packed in the case with the optional footprint. The picture next to my boot - I wear a size 11, and that's a rain boot for reference. The whole kit, including the extra footprint, weighs 6.5lb (~3kg).The setup is reasonably straightforward. The poles are a good aluminum with nice notched ends. Makes the base tent setup easy. It's a little tough to hang the middle of the tent because the one-piece pole rocks in the middle. But, that's a small price to pay. Unfortunately, I didn't get a good picture of the one-piece pole getting installed. The seams appear to be taped reasonably. I haven't had it in a storm yet, so can't comment on how waterproof it is. I'll update the review if I get that "opportunity".The tent is nice and roomy - and the dual-doors with dual vestibules gives PLENTY of room for a single person, and enough room for 2 people to sleep comfortably without extra gear inside the tent.I few things to note:- The sides of the tent hang on the center cross-pole. But, there isn't really any reinforcing. There IS a little aluminum latching piece, but I'm afraid the pole will quickly wear through the rainfly material.- The center portion of the pole has shock cord that is tied around a lock washer. Why a lock washer instead of a standard round washer? I don't know. Also, my lock washer was rusty when it arrived (see the picture).- Setting up the base tent is easy - and doesn't require stakes. BUT, the rainfly requires 2 stakes to pull out the vestibules. And that moves the main tent frame - so you need to add at least 6 stakes when you put of the rainfly. You can't really add the rainfly without stakes - it just doesn't work.- With the rainfly on, the only ventilation is the tiny vents on the ends (see picture). In the time it took me to install the rainfly, the inside of the tent was HOT, HOT. If you open those little vents AND both vestibule doors, then it's bearable. I wish this came in a light color (like gray).Overall, a nice tent. Light, roomy, and seems to be worth the money.

Great Tent
Great tent. Worth the price, SO easy to set up/disassemble. Got the 2-person tent, which is a tight squeeze, but not as bad as I figured it’d be. A full-size air mattress fits in there with some foot space to spare. Will be using it for backpacking (sleeping pads should fit way more comfortably than an air mattress). 2-person tent is a little heavy (~6lb), but if you split the tent into 2 bundles (tent body +rain fly and poles/stakes), the weights are ~2 and ~3lb, respectively. Also removed the cinch bag for backpacking which removed some weight. SO impressed at the quality. Definitely recommend a footprint, we’ll see how it performs in the rain. Rain fly comes with guy lines, which was unexpected. Tent stakes bend pretty easily if you try to stomp them into the ground (oops). Well worth the money for a small, easy tent or a beginner’s lightweight backpacking tent.

Nice tent if backpacking for 2
As a beginner backpacker, I like this tent.. I haven't done any extreme temps, but I'm 50 degrees weather it keeps you pretty toasty even though the inside tent doesn't have a window cover for the windows. It's been out with me for 5 nights total on separate occasions and no wholes or rips. It's light enough for me at the moment. I especially enjoy the cover that go out further than the tent to keep things under. I normally put my boots and backpack under there then my partner uses the other side. I take 2 stakes with me for that purpose

A few things I noticed about this tent on first use.
Excellent quality, the stitching is well done and the material is robust for its weight. Exercise patience and care during set-up, because the poles will not tolerate abuse. Make sure each pole joint is fully inserted into the mating sleeve. The tent is much more easy to erect if you stake out the corners and then start fitting the pole ends into the receiver grommets in the tie outs. You don't have to attach the fabric clips to the poles until they are in place, this tent is small enough you can do all that afterwards. Just DON'T get in a rush forming the poles into an arch and you won't break them. It's easy to work the arch diagonally, it will naturally form without any problem. They call this a three-season tent but I've used this type of design in all four seasons in the Rockies. In a pinch it could sleep two people but what it really provides is a roomy space for one with ALL of your gear inside the tent and out of the elements. Really shines in the Summer because with the outer shell removed, it's nearly a full skydome of netting which allows lots of air circulation. Once erected, the tent is incredibly sturdy especially for it's weight. They really got this one right. It easily compares with tents priced three times higher. Happy camping.

Best Moto tent under $100
Nothing bad to say it's well worth the money it's lightweight enough for backpacking or in my case motorcycle camping. The whole thing is really well made and high quality I especially love the poles. The tent is super easy to setup and take down and it has plenty of head and leg room for me being 6'5. If your looking for a quality one person tent this one is great I love it!

Holding up well on long road trip
Been using this for a month on a Yukon/Alaska road trip. First time experimenting with a "cheap" brand instead of Mountain Hardwear/Marmot types. I've set it up about 15 times and it's been hot, cold and rained on for days. Even took it backpacking once though it's heavier than proper backpacking gear. The tent is doing great but it loses 1 star because of the pole design, which seems fragile. The poles are all one piece with an internal elastic string that has knots at the joints. Once that string stretches or breaks, the poles will be useless even if the tent itself is doing well. Individual poles and crossbars would last a lot longer. Hopefully replacement poles will be easy to get. Overall, it's been a good buy for the low price!
