Dash Juicer is impossible to assemble for use
I'll leave the original review below. We've had this for about six weeks and we've been unable to force the auger into the locking mechanism more than half of the time. We used Amazon answers and got a helpful reply, but even that strategy is not reliable. My wife wants to make juice everyday after work. You have to assemble the juicer and the auger is used to lock the moving parts together. Wow she gets so frustrated! You can't force it in far enough to make it lock. Unlocked, it won't power on. Of course I offer to help and I keep in mind the instructions from the Amazon user. My success rate is about 50%. If I have a hard time, my wife says, "Just forget it." She puts the disassembled juicer parts back into the cabinet. Now that we have had it for six weeks, it is past the return eligible date. I hope that the seller will respond and make this right. We're out a hundred bucks and unable to make juice when we want to. _______________________________ My wife bought this and I was there for its first use. She had washed it earlier and I watched her put it together. This is self-evident and easy to do. I was visiting on the phone with a relative while I watched. She had chopped bitter melon, carrot and cucumber. It did a great job of extracting the pulp. She said that she may substitute or add celery to adjust the flavor to her liking. What I saw was a very thin stream of juice, by "thin" I don't mean weak, I mean not viscous. That's called juice! A lot of pulp went into the other container. I was still on the phone while watching her clean it at the sink. It was easy. Basically, she will be juicing for one. She believes -- and she's not alone in this -- that the bitter melon juice lowers her blood sugar. It was lower this week after drinking bitter melon tea, but I'm getting off the subject. We expect it to last well, with her light use of it. Before buying I looked for numbers like wattage and RPM's and could not find anything like that. No matter. It has plenty of power to do the job quickly and efficiently. The price is right. A person could pay hundreds of dollars for a juicer. This one costs less than a hundred. The BEST PART is the small footprint. Given that every other aspect is just fine, the small footprint makes this DASH Extractor a very happy purchase for us.

I love this product! Works if you are smart and actually looking for a masticating juicer.
I love this product and it works people! Initially I was a little hesitant reading all the negative reviews and videos on this product but I just decided to take a chance with it and omg it is so freaking awesome! Firstly this is a masticating juicer or cold press juicer which means it uses an auger system and not a blade. And so it protects all the nutrients in the juice without heating it. If you really want a cold press juicer then this is a great bargain. To operate just make sire you cut all the veggies and fruits as your thumb size so that it doesn’t get trapped into the auger. The best things about this product is that I love the way it CLEANS SO EASILY! and efficiently, the key point is to look for a flexible tab located at the bottom of the discarding unit, in which some fibers may get stuck but gets cleaned by some running water. The second best thing is that it is compact and creates less carbon footprint. The third best thing is that it creates DRY PULP! Yes it really makes dry pulp. I made a red juice using beets, apples, carrots, celeries, ginger, and lemon and the pulp came out to be like wet sand texture which from my point of view is pretty dry. I still have to test a few nut milks and coconut milk in this juicer but I’m pretty sure it will come out to be dry. P.S: I used all the pulp from my juice to make veggie patty's for burgers. I’m looking forward to make satvic rotis, indian style yogurt, veggie ragda patis, spiced almond milk (using the almond pulp, any kind of milk, saffron and sugar). Hope all this info helps decide to invest in this juicer. 😊❤️

Clogs up quickly
Initially I loved this little juicer. It has a very small footprint, it’s easy to use, easy to clean, and you get quite a bit of juice. My one complaint, and it’s one that is really putting me off, is that the Shute where the waste product comes out gets clogged up quickly and the only was to clear it is to take the whole machine apart. One of the main vegetables I wanted to use is kale and celery and both of them clog it up badly! If it wasn’t for this one bad feature this would be an 8+ machine.

Good for the price and the size with a few issues
I just got this today so I've only really tested it once so I may add to this review a little later on. Now to start, for the price and the size this is a fantastic little juicer. Yes you could probably get one that is slightly more powerful and can handle larger amounts of juice and produce with a larger pulp spout than this one has for slightly more money (or less if you got a centrifugal juicer). I had a fair amount of difficulty with it getting clogged when I juiced pineapple and celery, specifically. It didn't seem to have any problem with carrots, apples, kale, and just a little bit of trouble with ginger. So if you tend to stick with the more fibrous fruits and veggies that's probably going to continue to be a hassle and I feel like it might put more wear on the engine and other parts so it might not last as long in which case a full size masticating juicer might be better. That being said, I took the time and juiced about a half a gallon of juice using the above mentioned produce and can say it went pretty quickly for a masticating juicer. More than anything, this juicer's appeal comes in its footprint. It is incredibly small. Much smaller than other juicers I have seen and used. It is slightly taller than a roll of paper towels and not even as wide as a full roll. If you were looking to juice on a budget or are trying juicing at home for the first time and have limited space, this is a very good option. Pros: small footprint and works for small-ish batches of juice before overheating. (I made a half of a gallon -which is a decent amount- before I felt like it needed a break.) Cons: pulp spout gets clogged relatively easily and is not as easy to clean as I would like. I also had a little bit of difficulty putting it back together properly as you have to twist and lock the top part onto the motor and sometimes it takes a few attempts. Overall, has a budget masticating juicer I found that this is probably one of the better options especially if you're looking at getting one under $100 and just juice casually. Now, if you have the budget to spend just a little bit more and counter space isn't an issue I would suggest a full sized juicer as that one would probably last a little bit longer depending on how often you use it It would probably only set you back another $50 or so. (Not sure how to link it but the ones by Aioken are pretty good and currently on sale for Christmas.) All that being said, I'm pretty happy with my purchase as of right now. Like I said, I will update the review in a month or so depending on how it goes. :)
