A cool assembly toy. Plenty of ways to experiment with different builds and lots of learning involved.

I love wooden toys and when I saw this set, I figured why not give it a go. Now I haven't completed this set yet as it's probably a tad too old for my little one yet but even as an adult it has given me some challenge piecing it together. The pieces are well made, study and well finished with no rough edges or dents. You have 170 pieces that make a barn and store, and it will be so creative when my little one is of an age to play with it. It does come with instructions but I'm not sure there are many little ones who would follow them, but they do come in handy to begin with. It certainly has a LEGO feel to it, only it is made out of wood and is all one colour! Great value for money and certainly a toy that will last, only niggle is that it would've been nice to have a storage box included.

This is a substantial building kit of farm and enclosure made entirely of wood, which is a real plus. It comes in a large box with the instructions printed on the outside. I would have preferred a larger, more detailed instruction sheet inside so that you could clearly read the step-by-step assembly as this is quite a challenging project. I certainly cannot see children as young as 3 or even 4 years old being able to do it, except with a great deal of adult assistance!Setting that aside, it is on the whole well made apart from a few rough edges, and will be durable and provide a lot of fun, especially as part of any other farmyard set. The three "animals" provided are really rather laughable. Either do them as proper little figures or don't bother! The General Store sign is simply made of flimsy cardboard.The price is very reasonable considering the quantity and overall quality of the pieces, but taking into account the above criticisms I can only give it four stars.

Lots of fun. I found my child was more interested in playing with the farm as they actually built it themselves so this was a great idea! Lovely quality pieces. Nice design.

Currently reduced in price to £23.96…Ooh wow this is a toy and a half …170 pieces….This is a wooden toy farm and shop…..that you build….sounds simple….Arrives in a nice box with the instructions on the back….There are two bags 1 bag with large logs the other with smaller logs…then you have the roofs…and apex….then there is 3 wooden animals…cow… sheep and horse….This would be difficult for a child to fix this together…will definitely need adult help…Looks simple enough to get started ….work out the ground pieces then work upwards….Wooden pieces are well made…no sharp edges or splinters…as with the other pieces….At time of review this has been reduced in price a saving of £5.01….Will give little ones a hours of fun…Gladly recommend….

This is a great toy with an old fashioned look to it which is charming. It contains a lot of different bits you can build in a variety of ways and would be fun and educational for kids to practice their fine motor skills. The animals are cute and add some play value and I'm sure other toys could be added to make it more full.

170 real wood pieces. Fun playing with it. You will feel it as soon as you take it in your hand. Quite well designed and easy to play with.

We got this for my 5-year old niece, and I just can’t imagine a 3-year old being able to put this together. While the pieces are very solid and safe, the instructions are not as clear as they can be. Also, be aware, 170 pieces is A LOT. It’s a lot to build and to clean up obviously. Nonetheless, very cute farm once it is all put together.
