Review: Game changer for aquarium hobbyists. - Having 5 separate aquarium tanks on 2 different floors, it gets tiring topping off each tank every few days. So I decided to try this Fzone Auto top off system for my 20 gallon long tank. The installation was super easy. The sensor is really small and has a magnet to stick on the glass. The only thing I wish it had was a way to turn off the led light when it’s on standby as the light can be bright at night. I have it feeding water from a 5 gallon bucket and just filled it up for a second time since installing it. The pump is pretty silent when it refills. After using it for almost a month now I can definitely say its well worth the money.

**Q: Any time the pump looses power and reboots when it gets power back does it have to refill all the way to top line for measurement? Or is it a one time**
A: Yes it has to refill to the top sensor so it can recycle, also if water level goes way below sensor when it reboots it will only pump 3 times then red light comes back on so unplug and plug back in so it can pump remainder water to reach level you might have to do this several times( i hope not) usually once is sufficient, hope this helps.

**Q: Can I use it on a 40 gal ?**
A: Yes, it will work fine.

**Q: Will this still work if I put a longer tube on it?**
A: Sure

**Q: How do you install hose clamp on a rimmed tank?**

### ⭐ Stopped Working Properly and Flooded My Floor

Product Review I purchased this item, and it worked well for about a week. Unfortunately, I came home a few hours after doing a water change on my aquarium to find that my living room was completely flooded. Before this happened, I had already noticed that the auto top-off system would occasionally add water when the aquarium did not need it. Because of that, I moved the indicator sensor lower in the aquarium in an attempt to prevent unnecessary filling. The sensor would also frequently blink red, which appeared to indicate that something was wrong. This is actually my second unit, and I have experienced similar issues with both. In this case, the system continued adding water even though the aquarium was already at the appropriate water level, eventually causing it to overflow and flood my living room. Thankfully, I came home a few hours later. If I had been away for the day or traveling, the damage could have been significantly worse. This type of failure can absolutely ruin your flooring and potentially cause extensive water damage. I will not be purchasing this product again. If you decide to purchase one, please be aware that an uncontrolled fill/overflow is a real possibility. I strongly recommend monitoring it closely rather than assuming it will shut off when the water reaches the proper level.
