Donner Fog Machine, 400W Smoke Machine with Wired Remote Control, for Stage Christmas Halloween Thanksgiving Parties Show, DFM-400S

Only 4 starts cause I believe there is always room for improvement! Just got the 400Watt fogger. I deferred on getting fog juice and instead made my own. Got an empty 28 oz. plastic container of dish washing liquid. Washed it out real good. Instead of making a batch of juice for the 28oz. I chose to use 24oz. The fog juice tank in the fog machine is 8 oz. (and seems as though it should be enough for a few hours) I chose to mix for 24 oz. Which should give me 3 refills for the tank (8x3 = 24 for the mathematically challenged). I went with 16 oz of distilled water (very important you use distilled water instead of your tap) and 8 oz of glycerin. I also added a dash of scented oil, to give the smoke a nice odor. Not that it stinks... Ran the fogger several times. It seems to spray fog for about 20 seconds before it stops to reheat. Would have preferred a wireless remote, instead it came with a wired remote. No biggie. As my title says .. TIME WILL TELL how will it performs when I put it to the test!!!

This worked amazing for what I was trying to use it for, finding air leaks in our house. Also filled up a good size room with fog very quickly, was way more than I expected for the price! Only used it twice so far.

The fog machine worked as expected, unfortunately, not as long as expected. When we first got it, we did a small test and it worked just fine and we ran fog machine cleaner through it and didn’t use it again till Halloween. We had a fog chiller set up And it created a great ambience of fog with the chiller. Unfortunately, after about 2 1/2 hours of operation, the heating element decided to stop working. We did turn it off and tried to troubleshoot it a few different ways, according to manufacture specifications , but it did not come back on again that night. We tried again the next day just to see if maybe it was overheated and it did not come back on. We checked fuses we checked power cords. We checked everything that we could check and again, unfortunately it didn’t make it through the night. But again while it was working, it was doing a great job. So I honestly feel if this is a long-term fog solution I will be using it often. It might not be right for you, if you are OK with spending $30 for Halloween night and OK if I crapped out it would be just fine.

I like this fogger because it works.

I've used this for 3 dj gigs now and it's stellar. It doesn't burn through juice, it has a heavy output and the tiny size make it great for storing and transport. Bravo, Donner!
