Power Strip Surge Protector with USB Ports, 6 FT Extension Cord Flat Plug with Overload Surge Protection,ETL Listed

First and foremost, I have waited to give a review since purchase back in mid July in order to give it time to fail and set my house on fire. Nope, house and ex wife still there. All jokes aside, here are the pros and cons.Pros:1) Has USB PORTS! Really that's it. That is truly all that needs to be said, no? Nerds rejoice, techys rejoice. Gone are the days of having multiple splitters on one outlet and watching the cat jump away as the outlet sparks every time the cat bumps it. Not only does it have USB ports but it has a total of 6 USB ports. Meaning, you can have your iPhone 3G charging, while the ex wife has her XS charging, and the kiddos have their newest iPhones charging as well. Thats right, you still have a 3G (broke). Priorities. which brings me to point number 2.2) Price - at a bit over 20 dollars per, you are pretty much making out like a bandit. Consider the price you would have to pay for a surge protector of a decent caliber, now incorporate a 6 port USB charger. Now incorporate the luxury and convenience of having both merged, and the final consideration, have a brand name logo slapped on it. you are looking at 80 dollars easily. So I definitely took the opportunity to stock up on these and replace our old surge protectors with the fake push buttons... meh... but again as usual, all jokes aside, a true value as well as an investment.3) An actual surge protector that does its job. I live in Arizona, and we have some pretty crazy but beautiful lightening storms out here. And through that, we definitely get some power line surges that occasional have been known to fry certain tech. The surge protectors have been tripped on multiple occasions, and our tech has not suffered one bit, so that alone is a god sent.4) Durability - The protector is definitely made of a durable quality. I feel comfortable having a couple of these in my workshop. I am not concerned throwing them around or throwing tools around on top of them and having them crack or break from a bit of pressure.Those are the pros, oh and did I mention it has USB PORTS!Cons1) Length - The only con I can think of, and this is a reach, is creating multiple length cables to accommodate separate uses.Beyond that, I definitely recommend this product.

Worked great for three years then then on/off switch broke. I’ve had other surge protectors for longer, so I expected more for $50

These are handy, esp for traveling and in hotel rooms for charging all of your products but I’mOn my second set now because the charge slots stop working . The electrical plugs haven’t failed me but I don’t always have the apple charging box so I put the cord directly into the slots. They don’t last long . But while they are working they are perfect for all your charging needs in one spot .

Purchased this to replace a large and cumbersome outlet power strip surge protector. This one is small, compact, and has the added feature of USB charging ports. Usually at least two of the spots on my travel strip were for my cell phone and iPad. With the USB charging built in I have two extra spots on the power strip. I have used this on two trips so far and have had no problems or issues, plus my electronic carry bag now has room for addition items because these are almost half the size of the other ones I used to carry on trips. I also carry two grounded pigtails for larger plugin heads. I am going to order a couple more for my garage and workshop mainly because of the USB ports.

I have had great success in offering a "Phone Spa" for my students. Rule is... you can use your phone as the tool it is in class but if you are using it while I am talking or for gaming, etc. I will simply put my hand out for your phone. I will put your phone in the phone spa. Whether or not you get your phone back is up to you... after class you can 1) apologize (must teach students *how* to apologize) and get your phone back or 2) don't apologize and I will take it to the office for you to get after school.How to apologize 1) I am sorry about [offense]. This review is made after only two days with the product. It came in a day earlier than it was scheduled. We hooked them up and immediately put all of our charger cubes away in a drawer. I made sure my wife knew which ones would work for fast charging things and which items this could be done with. I told her anything else needed to go into the lower amperage plugs. I only had two remaining things that I needed to plug into 110v outlets. Outstanding, no more juggling cubes and wires to charge different things.

Actually 4 1/2 stars. We really like the convenience of having such a variety of options in one location. We would have given it 5 stars except for two things that may not be an issue for others. We would have really liked some keyhole slots in the back for solid wall mounting, and the orientation of the grounded outlets leads to the cord from a larger transformer obstructing the adjacent USB port. These were the only problems for us, other than that, great so far...

Im telling you all its the best! I was looking at a lot of extension and dont know what to buy. Then decided on this since i like the usb ports to lable what of Power comming out! OMG the low power charge my iphone super fast! And yesterday i use the higher on to charge my anker battery pack, it freaking done! Faster than when i use the apple ipad plug! And i was going overseas so this is perfect! 1 converter attach to it and out to many ports :)
