Q: Does this product have glass lenses?

Hi there, I have made a video to show the slides are made from Glass. It comes in a box container with x10 sample slide specimens and x5 blank slides so you can make your own slide experiments Anything else you need, please let us know Regards - Pete

Q: If this doesn't come with a Mechnical stage;What's the space between the two pin holes for the 2 clamps that hold the microscope slides?

HI William, The distance between the two clamps are 65 mm (I assume that is what being asked by reference to “pin holes”). Regards, Peter

Q: Can you see bacteria moving?

Hi Luis, While some eucaryotes, such as protozoa, algae and yeast, can be seen at magnifications of 200X-400X, most bacteria can only be seen with 1000X magnification. Generally it requires a 100X oil immersion objective and 10X eyepieces. Even with a microscope, bacteria cannot be seen easily unless they are stained. The Old Ted has a 40X Objective lens and 25X eye piece, so can not guarantee viewing the of bacteria, depending on the type of bacteria Regards, Peter
