Featuring dual 2.5G WAN/LAN ports and ASUS RangeBoost Plus technology, it ensures ultra-fast, expansive coverage ideal for large homes and demanding smart devices. Enhanced with lifetime commercial-grade security via ASUS AiProtection Pro and WPA3, it offers a future-proof, secure, and seamless wireless experience. ## Description WiFi 6E uses the newly-available 6 GHz frequency band, a band that can only be used by WiFi 6E devices. This means that older devices don't interfere with WiFi 6E performance at all, giving you faster, more reliable connections for your WiFi 6E devices. WiFi 6E has up to seven extra high-speed 160 MHz channels*, giving you multi-gigabit speeds with stable and consistent connections. It dramatically increases network capacity while reducing congestion, delivering higher performance for every WiFi 6E device. The 5 GHz frequency band overlaps with certain civilian radar systems. If these are detected by Dynamic Frequency Selection (DFS), connections can be delayed. The 6 GHz band doesn't overlap with these systems, so devices connect quicker without DFS delays. ZenWiFi Pro ET12 is a 12-stream device, with combined total data rates up to 11000 Mbps. This boosts its capacity for transmitting and receiving data to large numbers of devices simultaneously, reducing dead zones and giving ZenWiFi Pro ET12 the performance edge for the busiest home networks. ASUS RangeBoost Plus is the latest, most powerful version of our renowned RangeBoost technology, and it improves coverage for all your WiFi devices including legacy devices. Using a next-gen flagship Broadcom WiFi chipset and a 2.0GHz 64-bit quad-core CPU, RangeBoost Plus leverages multiple exclusive ASUS technologies to dramatically improve WiFi signal range and coverage by up to 38%*. With ASUS AiMesh, it's easy to add extra nodes for improved coverage or new features β€” simply add any AiMesh-compatible router! ZenWiFi Pro ET12 has both a 2.5G LAN port and a 2.5G WAN port, so you can enjoy full 2.5 Gbps speeds all the way from a compatible ISP to your compatible wired devices. 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz bands are getting more and more crowded with the growing number of home devices. The new 6 GHz band is reserved exclusively for WiFi 6E devices, so there's no interference from other legacy devices. This makes it ideal for use as a stable backhaul connection. You can also select the wired Ethernet for the backhaul connection between nodes. Alternatively, you can choose automatic mode and let ZenWiFi Pro ET12 choose the best connection type based on your environment. The choice is always yours! The easy-to-use ASUS Router app offers simple setup and easy management for your ZenWiFi Pro ET12 system, so you'll be up and running in no time. ## Features - Next-gen WiFi Standard – 12 streams WiFi 6E tri-band mesh system boosts speeds up to 11000Mbps - New 6GHz Frequency Band – 7 extra 160MHz channels for higher performance, lower latency, and less interference - Dual 2.5G WAN LAN Ports – 2.5Gbps connection for ultrafast transmission - Expanded Coverage – The exclusive ASUS RangeBoost Plus improves signal range and overall coverage - Commercial-grade Network Security – Lifetime free ASUS AiProtection Pro, powered by Trend Micro, with WPA3 to protect your home ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | Antenna Location | Business, Gaming, Home | | Antenna Type | Fixed | | Asin | B09VCLFMJW | | Best Sellers Rank | #9,567 in Computers (See Top 100 in Computers) #94 in Whole Home & Mesh Wi-Fi Systems | | Brand | ASUS | | Built In Media | ZenWiFi Pro ET12 RJ-45 Cable Power Adapter Quick Start Guide Warranty Card | | Color | Black | | Compatible Devices | Smart Television, Smartphone | | Connectivity Protocol | Wi-Fi | | Connectivity Technology | Ethernet, Wi-Fi | | Control Method | App | | Controller Type | App Control | | Coverage | Large area coverage | | Customer Reviews | 4.1 4.1 out of 5 stars (195) 4.1 out of 5 stars | | Data Transfer Rate | 12 Gigabits Per Second | | Frequency | 6 GHz | | Frequency Band Class | Tri-Band | | Has Internet Connectivity | Yes | | Has Security Updates | Yes | | Is Modem Compatible | No | | Item Dimensions L X W X H | 11.5L x 11.5W x 24.1H centimeters | | Item Weight | 1500 Grams | | Lan Port Bandwidth | 2500 megabits | | Manufacturer | AsusTek Computer Inc | | Maximum Upstream Data Transfer Rate | 2500 Megabits Per Second | | Mfr Part Number | 90IG05Z0-MO3A20 | | Model Name | ZenWiFi Pro ET12 | | Model Number | ZenWiFi Pro ET12 x2 Black | | Number Of Antennas | 1 | | Number Of Items | 2 | | Number Of Packs | 2 | | Number Of Ports | 2 | | Operating System | RouterOS | | Other Special Features Of The Product | LED Indicator | | Ram Memory Installed | 16 GB | | Router Firewall Security Level | Advanced | | Router Network Type | hybrid | | Security Protocol | WPA3 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Voltage | 220 | | Warranty Description | 3 Years Manufacturer Warranty | | Wi Fi Generation | WiFi 6E | | Wireless Compability | 802.11ax | ## Product Details - **Brand:** ASUS - **Frequency band class:** Tri-Band - **Model name:** ZenWiFi Pro ET12 - **Special features:** LED Indicator - **Wireless communication standard:** 802.11ax ## Images ![ZenWiFi Pro ET12 AX11000 Tri-Band WiFi 6 Mesh System: AXE11000 Ultimate AXE Performance, 10 Internal Antenna, 2.0 Ghz Quad-core 64Bits Processor, Parental Control - Black - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61pkDKxn5ML.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Pattern, Size, Style** options. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐ Mesh is unreliable *by on Reviewed in the United Arab Emirates 4 May 2023* I ordered a NetGear RBKE963 with international delivery to UAE and it was unusable due to 110VAC power adapter, ordered the ASUS ET12 as an alternative. Double glazed windows with tinting attenuate WiFi signal strength, and these devices not only deliver poor Wi-Fi performance out doors, the latest firmware update disconnects my printer, IPTV and TV from the Wi-Fi. Just ordered at UAE Netgear RBKE963 to replace ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very impressive *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 24 May 2024* I have a Virgin 360 router in modem mode, and originally had a TP-Link device connected as the main WiFi router, with 3 other wifi6 range extenders around the house. I still had connection issues. So, I changed to this ET12, an Amazon Warehouse deal. Initially I thought I'd made a big mistake, I just couldn't get it to connect to the Internet, I thought the WAN port was dead and thought it was because of the Warehouse "deal". Like someone sent it back faulty! I was just about to give up, had one last Google for help, and found my fix! It just needed the Virgin router rebooting after switching the TP-Link with the Asus. Silly me! So hours of cursing and ET12 reboots, and running through every possible setting for nothing! After the Virgin modem/router reboot, the Asus sprang into life. Light on the top goes white indicating a good Internet connection.I have just this ET12 now in the lounge, I was prepared to buy another one for the back of the house. But not necessary - the speeds are amazing all over the house for me with just the one ET12.I have Virgin 1gbps, and was going to complain to Virgin about the service because with the TP-Link I wouldn't get more than 500mbps anywhere in the house. Now, in my son's room (the furthest point and with a wired connection going via two switches and via the loft) he gets 800mbps plus. The ET12 can also run a speed check via the app, that hits 1.15gbps. So all in all, a massive improvement to my old setup. (which was also an AX11000 6E device)So, at the moment I'm extremely happy. My phone even gets 700mbs plus on WiFi.Time will tell, I'm now waiting for the kids to give me feedback, they are the data consumers in our house so they are good for the testing side of thingsπŸ˜‚Also, the ET12 is quite a bit smaller than I was expecting. And the Amazon deal said packaging would be damaged, but packaging and device were immaculate. So from what I've seen so far, I'd definitely recommend the ET12. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works far better than expected *by on Reviewed in Australia 10 January 2023* They have blown me away with how well they work...50 meters outside the house and still getting a signal...The best Mesh system, I have ever owed....
