Holy crap!
I honestly bought this to find out what basically the cheapest diamond cart on Amazon would sound like. I figured I'd use it for a test cart for turntables I'm working on. Well I was shocked to find that it sounds pretty awesome! It has a great bottom end and stays articulate through the range, all the way up to a detailed, but not harsh treble. My system isn't a reference system by any means, but Aja sounded crystal clear, and it was easy to pick out instruments. Subtle bass drum kicks on Heavy Weather get muffled and sound like record pops with the AT entry-level cart I bought at the same time. They sound like they're meant to be there with this guy. Would a Red or Blue cart sound better? Maybe. But this one is making me happy, and it's not even broken in yet. And my kids are learning how to play and handle records, but if they accidentally mishandled the tonearm and damage the cart, I'm not going to get sick to my stomach. It'll be a lot easier to chalk it up to a learning experience.

Amazon you rock
The media could not be loaded. Wow $22 for this awesome sounding cartridge, I'm listening to it and forgot it's not my $200 cartridge..it's smooth clear and the separation and response is on spot it rocks. It comes with no English or instructions so I set it up to 1.8 grams perfect. Then I read on Amazon 2-3 grams lol.. im leaving it alone it's good. Buy one while they last.i souldent be bragging about this dude they will sell out. Yes get one sounds like the big name one and looks cool 😎Scott ❤️

WORST MM PHONO CARTRIDGE EVAH!!!
Well this MADE IN CHINA JUNK may appear to be a higher end pickup but that is where the accolades end although it does sport threaded mounting holes. No more nice things to say at this point!!! It barely tracks at 2.7 grams and the output is too low for a MM preamp and too high for an MC one. Sound quality is mom-exist. It mistracks and distorts MIDS badly, Do yourself a favor and spend a little more and get an A-T VM95C or Ortofon OMEGA but stay away from this one!!! HAPPY LISTENING...GOD BLESS!!!...PJSII

Eagle Series - Not Terrible!
I tried out the Eagle Series Dual Moving Magnet Cartridge on a CEC BD-5200s turntable from the early '80s.The cartridge is well-packaged and appears to be reasonably well made. The needle appears to be of "bonded" construction, hopefully diamond-tipped.When trying out the cartridge, I used a record that I know very well, the soundtrack for The Pink Panther, played on a turntable I've had for years. For testing and comparison I used a preamp directly to studio-type headphones. While the cartridge did work OK on both channels, sound quality was not especially good. Distortion bordering on breakup was evident on much of the record.I had two other cartridges on headshells, an '80s vintage ADC and an Ortofon 2M Red.The ADC had the best sound, the Ortofon was pretty good but the Eagle Series just couldn't compare. To be fair the Ortofon is five time the Eagle's price and the ADC is no longer made but was relatively more expensive. Also, the Eagle's conical stylus didn't help, but I've used conical Ortofons previously and they sounded better than this.Another factor: The record I listened to is demanding and my judgement of sound quality is entirely subjective. The Eagle might do better on different kinds of music or for different people. As both the ADC and the Ortofon are very light trackers and the Eagle recommends 2.4 grams, I experimented with different tracking force on the Eagle from 1.5 - 4 grams with little change. So, I tried playing the record on a Crosley with its red plastic cantilever and that managed to sound worse than the Eagle Series. It could make a good cartridge for playing old, dirty and damaged records that you don't want to wear out your good needles on.It's kind of a shame as the manufacturer seems to have made an effort at making a decent product.

I'm now able to enjoy my turntable and vinyl collection thanks to this awesome little preamp.

Very low quality and compliance - spend more money for something better
The price is low, but so is the quality. The stylus compliance is below that is most ceramic cartridges. Overall I kept them but I'll never buy these again.

Cart looks great and expensive.
Cart looks great and expensive in person. Need to order some headshells now and will comeback and edit for a review.Well I'm impressed! For the price I really like it. It's bright but not overly so. Yes It's better than the AT3600, which is a good starter cartridge. Sounds clean and no noise. Bass is really good and not over done. Of course with more hours it will be better, but I'm happy so far. Tracks at 2.5-3. It's a beauty in person.

Super value
I may not be a true audiophile, but I do make custom turntables and refurbish vintage units. Was using the AT 3600 for a solid replacement but got this today, and I'm very impressed. It's sounds awesome for the money. That's all you need to know for real. Buy it!

Excelente custo-benefício!
Comprei essa cápsula para testar e ter como opção a mais. Cápsula oferece clareza nos médios e agudos, com graves definidos, ótima separação de canais e sensação de palco.
