Good Quality and screw holes were properly placed.
This is a well-made pick guard with good quality control as the Humbucker openings were precise and a really good fit. The screw holes were precise for the American Deluxe Strat I used it on!

Nice Tortoise Shell Pattern
This pickguard is going on a "Spectrum Strat" rebuild. Although the screw holes don't line up as I expected, the pickguard fitted the space between the neck pocket and bridge almost perfectly! I filed away about 0.5 mm from the cutout for the bridge with a flat hand file and touched up the rounded corners with a half round file, to give the tremolo bridge some space to move. I centered the pickguard on the body and drilled some new holes for the screws, which is to be expected when installing a new pickguard on an inexpensive import guitar body. I've rebuilt a few of these Spectrums. On some Spectrum Strat models, in particular; those with bright yellow tinted maple necks, have bodies made of alder rather than the soft basswood bodies found on the Spectrums with untinted necks and many other low priced Strat copies.

You will need to enlarge openings.
You will need to open up the slots for covered or trembuckers (tremolo spacing) with this pickguard. I did try a regular humbucker in the neck slot and it went in but not much clearance so I could definitely see some QC issues with some. It is kind of odd that this pickguard is for a S style guitar where you would want, not need I guess openings for a trembucker and at the very least having the bridge cutout wide enough for that. I wanted to edit this review by saying all the pickups I tried were Seymour Duncan as that's all I use. I did buy a few more of these before receiving this one for other projects so I am hoping it's not a big deal to widen the slots but I have all kinds of sandpaper and other tools at my disposal. Bit of an inconvenience if you ask me. So if you are shopping for HH pickguards at the very least get this one over the model with the rounded corners because if this one won't fit humbuckers than the one with rounded edges will absolutely not.

Quality and appearance identical to Fender OEM.

Great pickguard.
The pickguard actually matched the picture listed. Often the colors are wildly different, especially if it's a tortoise.

Works like it should
This pickguard is as advertised and is 3 layers and very durable. It comes with 2 layers of plastic film on the top and was easy to remove. This works great for a standard tremolo setup but I did have to file the edges for my hard tail strat for it to fit. Overall a great replacement for less than half the cost of the name brand ones.

Covered humbuckers don't fit
Overall, this is a nice looking pickguard. But, depending on your guitar, you may need a rotary tool and drill to make everything fit properly.I used this on a 1980s MIJ strat so I didn't expect it to be a perfect drop-in fit. I had to trim it to fit at the neck and bridge. This was not a huge problem and I don't knock it for that. However, it would be nice if the pickup holes were properly sized for covered humbuckers. I'm guessing it might work with uncovered pickups but be warned that you'll have to do some expanding of the pickup cutouts if you have covered humbuckers.I also had to drill out the pickup height adjustment holes. They are in the right position but way too small for any standard adjustment bolts. So, if you are willing to spend some time trimming and drilling, then this is okay. If not, I'd buy a different pickguard.

Top layer delaminated
Very good value but let down by the top clear plastic layer delaminating. I’m not talking about the two thin protective sheets you peel off after fitting but the clear hard plastic layer that sits on top of the tortoiseshell pattern. I’ve recently bought two of these scratchplates from the same seller (one SSS and the other an HH) and both have the same issue. I was going to return them but decided to try peeling off the top layer from one of them and it came off after putting it in hot water. The pattern is ok underneath although it is now a Matt finish rather than glossy as it should be. A bit disappointing but I’ve managed to save the hassle of returning. Will probably source from another manufacturer though if I buy another.

Different size to advertised
I bought this as my pickups measured 70mm by 38mm as it was a standard HH strat, as the add suggests it fits. When I got it I tried to change it over and they did not fit. I measured both and my pickups would fit if it was the advertised size. The actual size of the hole was 68mm by 35mm, a small difference that matters a lot. I tried to take the covers of my humbuckers so it would fit and in turn filled them with wax from the solder and ruined them. I tried to contact the seller who accepted no responsibility, gave me cheeky messages saying I should've checked before I bought them, then when I informed them I did, quoted there legal section regarding repairs and replacements decided it was amazons responsiblity and they had nothing to do with it.they are rude, unprofessional and selling items with the wrong measurements.

Tortoise shell design has drop out colour
The design of the tortoise shell was very poor with areas of yellow/cream colour.I am unable to say how it fitted as I didn’t take it out the package. I returned for a refund
