This is the best craft book I have EVER purchased. I had never made a rope basket before and the instructions in this are very clear with step by step photos. The projects are all very nice and things that I would actually make. In addition, various techniques are shown, including dyeing the baskets and fabric wrapping. I highly recommend this book.

I have just heard of rope bowls, and I liked the idea. I took a class and made an oval bowl. I found this book and found it very interesting and a great learning tool. I plan on getting some cotton rope and make another bowl. lots of pictures and great easy instructions to follow. You can also find the videos online.Reasonably price and very nice projects. I love the idea of dying the rope or splattering it with paint. shows you how to wrap fabric around the rope to make a fabric rope bowl. Very nice book of instruction.

As a novice rope bowl sewer, the beginning of the book was very helpful in explaining types of rope & uses as well as thread & needle explanations. Very helpful pictures made sure I understood the descriptions.
