My Brest Friend Adjustable Wooden Nursing Foot Stool with Non-Slip Grip

I bought this to use as a foot rest for classical guitar playing, and I couldn't be more pleased. When it is set in the middle position, the height and angle are perfect for me. There is a higher and lower position that might fit other players. This stool replaces one of those narrow foot stools that are designed to fold up into a guitar case. They are ok for traveling, but I find them awkward, unstable and uncomfortable. If you don't set your foot on one exactly right, it might flip over. For use at home, where it's not kept in the guitar case, this stool is perfect: wide, stable and comfortable. It is very well made and a great deal at the price! (And you can use it as a nursing stool too!)

This is a great little stool I highly recommend this to anybody that is breastfeeding or anybody that just needs to have a little stool. This would have been perfect for even my father-in-law that had a hip replacement just to elevate your knees a little bit This takes pressure off your back when you're sitting or is even great for when you're trying to rock back and forth We have this and it just slides under our IKEA chair and the nursery and I pull it out when I need to use it to nurse the baby or to help bounce her. I will even say that this will be helpful for crafting when you're sitting in a chair for long period of time I'm short so my legs are shorter and it creates a downward angle but when I need my lap to be flat for certain crafting this will also be helpful. Overall great little stool. It never completely goes flat from what I understand but you could totally use it as a step stool in the bathroom for a little once to brush their teeth as well because of the grips that are on it I'm sure the little angle wouldn't even be that big of a deal when stepping up and down off of it.

Overall, I'm happy with this stool. Putting it together was easy enough. The only hard part was getting the small screws in all the way, but my husband was able to do that. I didn't have the difficulties that some reviewers did with assembly. The stool itself is very sturdy and big enough for both my feet to comfortably rest on it. The non-slip sandpaper strips on the top do not hurt my feet. My only complaints are that it is a pain to adjust the height, and overall it is a bit high for me. I'm 5'5", and have tried it in a few different chairs of varying heights. If I rest my feet flat on it, my knees are up way too high such that it's uncomfortable and the baby would be at an angle tilted towards my body instead of flat/parallel to the floor. So I rest the sides of my feet on it, not the bottom.

This stool has absolutely changed breastfeeding for the better! I am short (5’3”) and struggle with intense lower back and sacral pain due to my feet not touching the floor while nursing my baby. This little stool makes it SO much more comfortable. It’s really easy to put together and the instructions are clear. I love the ability to angle the stool to your preference. It’s not bulky or too huge and feels very sturdy. I like the grippy lines on the top too! Super pleased with this purchase.

I bought this because I have back problems and need the support I am short and needed a stool that wasn't 10" high. I couldn't find anything under 5" until I saw this! It's heavy duty and solid wood. Requires minor assembly but it is worth it! Perfect for under my desk to keep my knees at a 90 degree angle for optimum circulation and lower back pain. Highly recommend to anyone!

I love this stool!! Made nursing so much easier. Ergonomics is key when being a new mother and I often found I was having back pain and leg numbness when constantly sitting to nurse. I used the stool and my brest friend pillow....... AMAZING difference. Pain and numbness went away. It was really easy to put together, max 10 mins. Very sturdy. Even has anti-slip on the top so feet stay in place. Highly recommend!

I am a male; I bought this product as a "foot rest/ottoman" for my couch. This is different than the advertised/intended purpose. The "Good" I have short legs and this stool helped bridged the gap between my feet and the floor when sitting on the couch. It was just the right height to correct a posture issue. When used with a back pillow, it made my nights in front of the television significantly more comfortable! It is also very sturdy/wooden construction that is solid. I have used plastic foot rests at work in front of a computer and they are prone to cracking/breaking where this product is miles ahead of the pack. The strips on top are a little rough, however, they do keep my feet in place, so long as I wear socks or a rubber soled shoe. I would NOT go barefoot. Great price, inexpensive! The "Bad" The only downside is that the rubber feet that are attached by screw and washer - two of them have ripped and cause the feet to come off. This results in the stool sliding away! I have tried removing the screw and putting the feet back on, however, after ample pressure on the stool, the feet work themselves off again due to the rip. I also tried removing all four rubber feet, however, the stool simply slides across the floor, as such, they are required if you want the stool to remain in one place. I have asked for a replacement and see if the new product fares any better. Overall, I like the product and hope that the replacement will work out. Otherwise, if the rubber feet issues persist, I'll need to find another product.

Sturdy stool and useful stool. We had used it quite extensively for the breastfeeding stage although we eventually discovered that the ottoman that goes with our glider provided a more elevated and the needed support for me. Now for months, we have been frequently using this as a stool to sit on while bathing our baby. Because the seat can be tilted, the incline gives a more comfortable seating posture than of the seat is flat, like most other ordinary stools. I can foresee that we can eventually use this as a stepping stool for higher cabinet shelves. Good multi-purpose product. My husband is an engineer, so it's easy for him to adjust the angles for me. But I can't say whether it would or would not be as easy for me since I haven't gotten to trying to do it myself yet.

This adjustable nursing stool has made a huge difference in comfort and posture. The stool is very good quality, sturdy, and easy to assemble. We highly recommend it to any new parent looking for a practical and reliable feeding aid.

This product was better than I expected - it is sturdy, looks nice, and is adjustable. The only 'strange' thing is the red stripes of material on top to stop you from slipping off if you stand on it - they have exactly the same 'feel' to them as an emery board for filing your nails. I have put a small pillow on top of mine, which makes it a little more comfortable (and hides the strips).

Ordered this on a whim, not sure whether I would need it or not with my new nursing chair. I haven't used it much for nursing because my toddler likes to use it instead. It's a sturdy, handy stool. My husband wants one for his office because of great it is. Because it doesn't have "My Brest Friend" emblazoned on it, it can be used for much more than nursing. Love it. Easy to assemble.
