No leaks, highest quality, no plastic
Bought this product to enable me to add a handheld shower wand to my parents current shower head. The product is fantastic. I am a 58 year old woman with NO plumbing experience. I watched some of the videos and by the time the diverted arrived, I was confident that I could do it myself. I was able to install it within 10 minutes with no problems. The diverted is sturdy, heavy, and well made. I thought that I might have to tweak it with more Teflon tape or rubber washers to prevent leaks. That was not the case. It worked PERFECTLY. I also installed the Handheld shower wand I purchased from Amazon and installed that at the same time. It was also sturdy, heavy, and well made. No leaks from either item. If I was able to do this with no help from anybody, anyone can do it. I’m pretty sure the quality of the products contributed to the ease of installation. Extra rubber washers were also included in case of a slight leak that might result from removing an extremely old shower head and reinstalling it. I used the extra washers, just in case. Also, make sure to remove any old Teflon tape before applying the new Teflon tape. I also removed the restricter from my parents old shower head. They said their old showerhead, which had no pressure to it for the past twenty years, nearly knocked them down. They loved it. I read about the restricter while researching shower heads. There are plenty of videos showing you how to do this. It takes about 5 seconds. I highly recommend this product. I was so impressed with the diverter and the handheld shower wand I purchased for my parents that 5 days later, I purchased the same two items for myself.

Excellent quality, better than MODONA diverter, good flow
I bought this after buying the MODONA diverter. That valve worked but impeded flow by quite a bit and my attempt to widen the holes with a drill compromised the seal. which in that case worked by a valve stem in an open chamber being attached to a pad that occulted the outflow holes. MODONA also is one piece and simply rotates around the shower spout pipe when being tightened; MINGOR has a captive nut that doesn't put the orientation of the valve on the pipe. Like MODONA, every part of this I can see is brass. This valve works differently. I'm actually not sure how, because I haven't taken it apart, but there's no visible movement in the output holes when the valve moves. There was a negative review depicting a round discharge hole (the input hole is the hex-shape for a Allen wrench you see in the product photo) and as you see, the one I have has a binocular-shaped discharge hole. The other output hole that is connected to the showerhead is the same.Another question you may have like I did, is whether G 1/2" is the same as IPS 1/2". "G" is also known as BSPP. In this chart I found, IPS (listed as NPSH) is not exactly the same but very similar; close enough that it fits. On that matter, this tightened more solidly to the shower spout than the MODONA or for that matter the existing showerhead. It included tape (which you really shouldn't use for IPS threads anyway, the yellow pipe dope you can see in the photo was there to seal the MODONA and wasn't necessary for this). So now what you're really reading about: flow. How much is it? In this case, it did restrict flow- but less than MODONA which was a serious compromise on performance. Also, whatever the mechanism is, it seems to accommodate dual-flow very well. Overall an excellent value and product.

Easy installation and smooth valve action
I got this to replace an existing diverter (from another maker) that was a push/pull style that was difficult to use. This one was easy to install and they give you plenty of thread tape and washers to do get it done with no leaks. It feels like a high quality, solid device like you'd expect for normal plumbing use. The valve operates very smooth and easily and you can go from wand only, shower head only and everywhere in between. There is an arrow indicating rotation direction on the side so anyone should be able to figure out how it works. No problems at all and it works like it should!

Better water flow than some of the others. Solid brass .
Used for dual shower heads. Fixed and handheld. Solid brass. Good water flow. I had purchased others that had poor water flow.

Easy to use, operate and doesn't leak.
This was a repalcement for another (cheaper) brand that failed and started leading badly after 4 months. This valve came with plumber's tape and instructions. Smooth operation to switch between shower head and wand. Good flow rate too. No leaky connections.

Looks and feels like a well-made product
This shower valve feels very well-made. The finish matches very nicely with my existing Delta oil rubbed bronze trim kit.The shower valve included everything needed. They even included a small roll of Teflon tape to install it with nicely done!

Love it!
We had a diverter valve on our master-bath shower but it had one of those pull up control valves which was difficult to pull up . . . especially when one's hands are wet and soapy. After a short time the pull-up lever got so stiff (probably with corrosion) that it was impossible to engage to divert the water from the shower-head to the hand-held shower. My hubby went and bought a replacement for it from a local home improvement store but when we took it out of its package we realized the diverter had hardly any weight to it as though it were made out of plastic - so back it went.I saw and ordered this diverter and we were very impressed when we received it as it has some heft to it which assured us it was brass and would last. It was easy to install and works beautifully, no leaks and is so easy to use, no more struggling trying to pull up on a slippery chrome cylindrical diverter that was most likely corroded shut making it impossible to use.We like this diverter valve so much we intend to order another one for the other bath in our home.

Great fit $ saver
Great fit. The internal diverted for my rain/handheld shower broke. Paid like 10x more to have it fixed twice. Glad I found this external diverted which is a $ saver. Otherwise I will have to get a total new rainshower. Works perfectly now. Its been like 2 months. Fixed my Grohe mixer and the nickles brand rain shower. ( which by the way is crap. Diverter broke 3x in 4 year.)
