Our old ice pick was in bad shape. . .we needed a new one. . .found this one, and it is great. You may think, it is an ice pick, as long as they break up the ice, what difference does it make? Well. . .this one has a lid that screws on so it is a little safer. . .and I like the fact that the pick part is a little shorter than some others, and thicker than my old one. This ice pick gives better control while you are breaking up the ice. A small thing, but I appreciate the feature.

This ice pic works great! Its awesome and safe how it’s placed inside. Have to twist or turn it to open up. At first I wasn’t sure how to open it. It looks so nice when stored.

This item is a gift to another so that I am limited, at this time, to address the complete usefulness. It appears to be quite sturdy. I found that the recommendations prior to purchase were outstanding and the cost fantastic.My only criticism is that the pick itself appears to be shorter in length than anticipated and the safety cover cannot attach to lengthen the pick.Again, since this is to be a gift, I cannot fully critique its convenience or overall satisfaction with use.

These are really very nice. I just put in my second order. Ice picks used to be a staple in any kitchen drawer. It's uncanny how many people do not have one laying around. The one I inherited from my grandmother was showing It's age and isn't all that attractive so I bought several of these. They are literally a tool of a thousand uses.

Great ice pick, very sturdy. And compared to others I’ve bought that are similar, this one has a non wobbly cap. It goes on very tight and no wobble so very happy with that.

This seems to be a quality product but it is just too small! I saw previous reviews about it's size but figured that it didn't need to be very big to chip ice. Wrong. I don't want to be banging my knuckles on the ice to break it apart. Wish this same company made a larger one and I'd buy it. The bigger ones don't seem to come with a nice cover like this one has, so I'll keep looking until I can get exactly what I need. This one is going back.
