These pill cases offer a discreet way of transporting any medication. I am obsessed with keeping our dogs tagged in case they ever become separated from us or home. As such, I wanted these as a kind of third-defense Pet Tag system wherein I could include a note with more information than normally goes on a standard tag, in a couple of different languages. For this (my) particular use, I first gave them 4-Stars, but upped my rating to 5-HUGE Stars because while they are a bit bigger than I first anticipated, they will go through a cyclone and not come off or open UNTIL I open them. They're GREAT!!! The red one is on our "doghter" 😄💓, Broomhilda, who weighs 162 lbs. and who is ALWAYS sleeping on hers. Our other doghter, Izzie, who weighs only 65 lbs., is a hurricane of energy! She sleeps cuddled next to us all night, and at break of day she is ready to run or go out. Her day then consists of running back and forth, almost nonstop, inside to outside, across the yard, barking at birds and kitties and keeping her family safe 😉. For an entire EIGHT MONTHS NOW (updated review), the silver pill holder has been riding along, without ever ONCE becoming unsealed or falling off! As mentioned, these are just a bit big for our 17 lb. little one, Ser Edwie, but the size is growing on me and they're not very heavy. Also, since Edwie mostly stays inside, he doesn't wear it much. As for using these as actual PILL HOLDERS - I think they would be FANTASTIC!!! They'd definitely hold lots of small pills, various different-sized pills, or a couple of bigger ones. I mean really, I cannot imagine there being a pill which won't fit. Personally, if I were ever prescribed a pill wider than a regular-sized "SHARPIE", (even though image says Fine Point), I'd ask for viable alternative IMMEDIATELY. 😅 These garner a strong "Definitely RECOMMEND Item" from me.
