Suave Professionals Smoothing Shampoo, Keratin Infusion, 12.6 oz

I have spent lots of money on other shampoos / conditioners and I must admit that I have been pleasantly surprised with Suave Professionals Keratin. I have thin natural blonde hair without any color treatment, yet my hair tends to get dry easily. The Suave Keratin combo keep my hair smooth and shiny all day. Even when I wake up I find that my hair has not dried out. Also, the scent is light and pleasant. I highly recommend this shampoo for anyone looking to make a difference without spending a fortune.

Good shampoo. Doesn't strip all the moisture out of my hair and does a good job of cleaning it. Doesn't reek of perfume.

My hair is long, naturally curly, and can be difficult to manage at times. I wear it curly 24/7 and just towel-dry it, style it and go. With that being said, I was hoping this shampoo & conditioner would make my curls look smooth and frizz-free when dry.On the first day I used these products, I could tell a slight difference in the way my hair felt even while it was wet. However, the ultimate test was when it dried, and sure enough, my hair felt soft and smooth after it dried. I was pretty optimistic at this point. But these products claim to keep your hair frizz-free for 48 hours...um, no. It didn't even keep my hair frizz-free on the first day, let alone the second!The only thing it did was change the way my hair felt. But hey, for $2.74 a bottle at Wal-Mart, you get what you pay for I guess. Maybe it's just my hair type, maybe my expectations were too high, whatever it is I will probably not be buying this product in the future.

I used this shampoo and the conditioner for the first time today. While it didn't leave my hair in the pin straight condition I hoped for (and let it be known that nowhere does this product promise pin straight hair), I am very pleased with the softness, shine and body. I can definitely see that I have less frizz and I'm guessing a minute or so with a flat iron will give me my desired results. Good value for the results. I'm not wild about the scent but I can get used to it.

I have never reviewed anything on Amazon before, but after researching "hair falling out" and reading the post by someone else who had the same issue, I felt I NEEDED to review this product. I have been using this product for over a year now and I loved it at first. It does make the hair smoother and softer. Then I started noticing my hair was thinning. Then it started to come out in handfuls in the shower. Then I noticed the rug where I blow dry was becoming covered in hair, not to mention the rug outside the shower where I towel dry my hair. And I started to feel my hair breaking when I comb it.I thought it was age (I'm 50), too much estrogen in my system or even the anxiety medicine I take (which could also be contributing). But after reading other reviews that sounded EXACTLY like my situation, I am convinced the SHAMPOO is the culprit.I had always thought of Suave products as being "cheap" and my hair salon steered me away from them. I've tried Redken (which I didn't like) and other expensive shampoos, but they were just pricey and didn't do what they said they claimed. So when I found the Suave Keratiin I thought, ok, so they've improved. This stuff does what it says. NOT SO MUCH!I recently purchased two bottles of this shampoo and they are going right back to the store, along with an empty bottle that's still in my recycling bin.GOODBYE Suave Keratin! And good riddance! If my hair doesn't grow back in I'll be joining the law suit.

I love this product. It works great. It makes my hair wonderful. It is soft. It is manageable. Great product for curly hair to go straight.

I bought this item because I thought that it would simply reduce frizz and make my hair sleek and manageable, and it worked perfectly for that. But, I never wanted to do an all-out keratin treatment because I LOVE my curls. I have the type of hair where people I don't know stop me on the street to compliment my curls, but within a month of using this product, my curls started to disappear :(. At first, I thought maybe I was blow-drying it and flat ironing it too often (which I wasn't really doing any more than I did before using this product), but I eventually realized that it was the shampoo and conditioner that was eliminating my curls. I stopped using it, and sure enough, my roots started to grow out curly again. I was in a weird transitional period for a while where the top of my hair was curly and the bottom half of my hair was straight from using this product. Its been about 6 months, and I'm finally able to wear my hair curly again, but its still not quite where I want it to be.If you're hair is naturally straight, or your hair is curly/wavy and you want it to be straight, this is a great product. It really did make my hair soft and manageable. I usually spend a lot of money on shampoo and conditioner, I was shocked at myself for loving such an affordable product. In fact, my sisters dropped their expensive hair products to use this after they tried it. But, after seeing how it took away my curls, I'm back to using my $40 shampoo, and to me that feels like money well spent.
