Great book for parents!
This book is great for parents. It tells you step by step how to facilitate getting your child to do chores. This is something that my 4 year old isn’t always enthusiastic about, but this book provides fun & engaging ways to get children to help around the house. My favorite part is the interactive chore chart in the back that children can use to “check off” once they’ve completed each activity. This book is recommended for parents of a 2-6 year old who would like to incorporate some Montessori strategies at home with their kids!

The BEST books!
We are absolutely OBSESSED with both of these titles. They are perfectly Montessori aligned, and the diversity/inclusion of the photographs used are important and matter. Thank you for creating such amazing books!

Wonderfully encouraging!
As a lifelong believer of Montessori, I knew I would love this book before I even looked at them. BUT, it exceeded every single one of my expectations. The step-by-step instructions are simple but complete, the children are shown accomplishing tasks and feeling proud and the checklist on the side of the book that allows you to slide the little marker to the side when you complete a task really fosters natural self-esteem. The fact that they include a variety of tools for each job is ideal since children can match what they're using to the book no matter what type of broom or cloth they're using. I love the simple but modern-looking color schemes used throughout. It's approachable without being busy, just like all Montessori items. I can't say enough lovely things about this book!

Highly recommended!
This is a wonderful book to help teach young children chores that we do at home. Little children love to help and this book, in photos, breaks down what equipment is needed, as well as step-by-step instructions to complete the task. It encourages skills such as organization, problem solving, following directions, and lifelong life skills.Highly recommend this book!

Shows child using sponge to wash dishes
I wanted to provide other Montessori parents and educators a heads up that the washing dishes instruction uses a sponge. While sponges are great for other activities, washing dishes isn’t one of them unless it’s one use. From someone with a background in biology, sponges are unsanitary to reuse on dishes as they never fully dry and harbor bacteria. I wish the book had used a scrub brush or even a cloth to demonstrate this activity.

Works!
Great for my wants to be independent kiddo. We enjoy moving the slides to mark off what is done.
