Does the HSS work with Yongnuo's YN-622C triggers?

Yes it does. It works great! HSS is the reason I went with these triggers and a HSS compatible flash. They are very reliable.

I would like to know if the bounce capability allow the flash head to swivel 180 degrees? Also, i would like to know what the 'modelling mode' is?

The 568EX II does swivel 180 so you can bounce the flash off walls and ceilings. I am not sure about modeling mode. There are 3 modes on the flash: Manual, TTL and Multi. Multi mode will allow the flash to fire multiple times per second. So you can take a long exposure picture and have the flash fire multiple times. Hope this helps

Does this flash have an auto focus assist for shooting in dark conditions or backlit subjects?

The flash DOES have AF Assist. It projects a red pentagon-like grid of vertical and horizontal hash marks and works very well indoors, in low-light, as well as with heavily backlit subjects. I've not yet tried using it at larger event shoots and there are some reports of the prior version (non-II) being weaker than the Canon equivalent.
