Well made, large enough to handle check books, stamps, pens and paper, but thin enough to put in a briefcase or pack if you're traveling. A long solid hinge on one side and an easy to use latch on the other.

Excellent clip board for someone on the go! The clip itself is made of metal, and is extremely strong. I am confident that if I have a piece of paper in the clip, a strong wind will not be able to blow the paper off. The board's surface is very slightly textured, but not to the extent that it would effect writing. Writing on paper on top of the board is smooth, as it should be for a clip board.What sets this board apart from regular clipboards is of course, the storage. This is great for those who need it for on the job, who have several pieces of paper that they need to store and take around with them. Storage is limited since this clipboard is slim. This makes sense as being slim makes it more mobile. With that said, you can easily carry many papers around with you. You can even carry pencils/pens with you inside the board (although there is no dedicated places for it).I gave 4 stars under Sturdiness as it is made of plastic. I am sure if you accidently step on it, chances are good that it will break. Sturdiness and Durability are the same to me. Storage Capacity I gave 5 stars, because since it is limited in storage, I feel you can fit a lot inside the board for a slim board. The clip that locks the board closed is also plastic, and tightly closes the board. I do not see it possible to accidently opening this board. With that said, opening the clip that locks the board to me is an easy task. The board itself opens nicely, having hinges that allow it to open easily and stay open. With that said, it is plastic and will break if abused. But that is true for pretty much most things.If used as a clip board should be used, I am confident this board will give many years of good quality use. I highly recommend this board.

I have to preface this with the reason I bought it. I'm a coach. Keeping a few documents or forms or stats books with me at games and practices is invaluable. I used to use a storage clipboard that was metal. It was tough but I often cut myself or slammed my finger inside by accident. It was just awkward and unforgiving. Then I went to the plastic ones not expecting much but honestly they held up better. Hiwever, the issue with those us that they open at the bottom also making them hard to manage at the field or in wind or rain ECT. LI finally saw these that open from the side, have a clipboard, and are thin and light. Also cheap. Cheap is good for coaches because you will definitely either sit on it or step on it or throw it in the truck accidentally slamming the door on it... Just saying I'm definitely going to beat it like a drum to either make a point to the team or because I dropped it down the stairs at the stadium.Long story short, this is the best format I have found for a storage clipboard. It's cheap, plastic, tough-ish, durable-ish, and opens like a book (the way God intended). It fits the bill so it's good stuff.

It's about what you'd expect for under $10. It's as described and seems like it will hold up fine. It does seem a little flimsy and the center of the clipboard bends inward with only a small amount of pressure. Additionally, there was an info sticker on the front that left a lot of sticky residue when removed.

I use this for things like auditions to hold my resume and headshots. It’s very handy for that purpose! It is thin and lightweight. It has enough thickness to hold pens as well, but not so much that it becomes bulky. Ideal size!

I love this brand of storage clipboards. I had one for 5 years with moderate use and it's survived. I bought this to add an assortment of colors to my collection. My only complaint is it doesn't have a pen storage, but the dimensions of the product is perfect (for my use) so I wouldn't change a thing about it. I highly recommend this product.
