Unless you are severely near-sighted (which no clock will help), this clock will keep you on schedule. Clock is exactly as it’s described nothing more nothing less.. It’s a great, bright, easy to read and reliable clock.. with 3 dimmer settings, you can change the lighting level for nighttime so that its light doesn't keep you awake. Also, the automatic dimming function is a very nice feature, in that it will automatically dim the clock’s digital display to a very low brightness between the hours of 22:00 – 06:00. It also shows day of the week, the date, and temperature...I would also like to stress that I really like the simple look of it. The entire clock is a Black color, while the LEDs are a green color. The instructions are written well and easy to follow. There are 5 buttons on the rear for operating the clock, and the instructions explain everything so I had no problems accessing the features of this clock after reading the instructions. The manual is thorough and covers all the options in the clock...There are 2 unique alarm settings for this clock, however I am not planning to use this as an alarm clock, so I didn’t mess with the alarm settings much.
