Lasko 106 Space Heater, Compact, Purple

Good: Very small and only 200 watts. I have a space heater already but it is 1000-1500 watts and a bit too powerful for my tiny room. So wanted this one to just maintain a temp and not blast me with heat. It won't suddenly heat up the room a lot but it will keep the temp comfortable for 5 hours using the same amount of electricity as the other one uses in just one hour. The cord is decently long, 6 ft. I put it up on a stepstool because it is so tiny (6 in tall and 4 in wide) that I was afraid I might trip on it! It isn't super high tech but since it is only 200 watts, it doesn't need a thermostat or anything. It supposedly has overheat protection but doesn't seem to have tip over shutoff.

I bought a few of these Lasko MyHeat Personal Space Heater, Compact Heaters in both Black and the white. - I bought my 1st one of these in September of 2018 and it is STILL working! - I needed a bit of heat for under my chilly home office desk and thought this was a good size to try. - I liked it so much that I bought a few more to use as spares for when this one would eventually quit working. - Amazingly, this 1st little heater is STILL working and it is now January of 2026! WOW! - I have been using this Lasko MyHeat Heater ALL DAY, EVERY DAY for about 7 and a half years now! - I do have my husband use his garage air compressor to blow out any dust or dog hair about 3 or 4 times a year. - I still have not had to use the other spares I bought, because this one has never quit working, which is amazing! - I think the Lasko MyHeat is one of the best small heaters I have ever bought. - It takes the chill out from under my desk but does not make it too overly warm.. - I even use during most of summer too, as my home office stays pretty cool even in Summer. - If you want a nice, reliable small heater for under the desk use, I highly recommend this one! - I absolutely LOVE my little Lasko MyHeat Personal Space Heater!

This is a great little desk heater. It's not very hot at all, so that makes it great if you want it up on top of your desk to keep you warm while you work. I know sometimes heaters can get too hot, this will not be the case with this heater. And the purple is super cute! I'm glad I got it. It will be nice for sitting on top of my desk. HOWEVER - I'll explain a few drawbacks below: This is the third time I've bought this heater over the years. I used to travel 100% for work and would have to go to cold work sites in places like Minnesota or Wisconsin. So I liked this heater because it fit in my suitcase great, and I could pop up up on my desk next to my laptop and stay warm-ish while working - well, warmer than I would have been without it anyway. The reason I bought it a few times is because there were a couple of times where I ended up forgetting it in the office when leaving the project. BUT - now, I work from home and I would rather have a heater down on the floor by my feet that warms up the general area around my desk. My home office has three windows that I work next to, and the heat just doesn't seem to be enough in here. So I remembered how much I liked this heater back when I traveled, and decided to order it again. This heater is not good for the purpose of heating a room, or being under you desk a foot or so away to heat your feet. Even under my desk a couple of feet away I can't feel it on my feet, it has to be almost right next to my feet to do anything. It really only puts out like 80 degree temps and a foot or two away you can barely feel that. I would say that this is a great heater for a small office cube, for traveling, or for sticking on top of your desk and not taking up much room - but if you are in a stationary office, or want something to heat up a general space - this is not the right heater. It got kind of cold last night, so I took it into my bedroom and put it on my nightstand because my bed is by the window and it got a bit colder. I could not even feel the heat coming from this a little bit! Not a bit at all! It was about arms length away. I left it on all night thinking maybe over time it would still warm me up, and when I woke up, still couldn't feel it. I guess I have a bigger bedroom and good airflow/ventilation.. but again it it was within arms length away and I didn't have a fan on or anything. Also, never really noticed how loud it was in my office, but being next to the bed, it does make some noise and it bothered me for a little bit before I finally fell asleep. So I wouldn't recommend it as a bedside/nightstand heater either. Reasons to get this: It's cute, it's cheap, it's super small, it's somewhat quiet for a desktop heater, works well if you want it directly next to your skin. Reasons not to get this: It doesn't put out enough heat to impact a few feet away, it's too loud for a bedside heater.

This is so good, I always have cold feet and this heat is the solution, it's small quiet, and easy to use. I like it!!!

Works very well. Has a 3 year warrantee. Housing stays cold when running. Heats up a 30 square feet area very quickly. Excellent for a small trailer. Will be buying another one!

The CEO of my company likes a chilly 20-21 degrees in the office (Sadist? Thinks it makes you more productive!?) and my hands are constantly icicles. I got this bad boy to blast over my keyboard when I cant feel my fingers or when the office is just uncomfortably cold... and I love it. It's not the best of the best... you can't control temperature, and you can't adjust the direction of the heat, but it does what it says it does, isn't too loud and I haven't had any issues! FYI: I bought this in 2014. It's 2025. It's still running under my desk at my feet. Talk about VALUE.

I loved the size of this heater and I liked the amount if heat but I got this mid January of this year and today mid April the fan cuts in and out. I tried resetting as per the instructions and no luck. I didn't mind the prize because it was the perfect size for what I needed however nearly 35 dollars for a fan that doesn't work is not ok with me.

Para 200 watts emite bastante calor, es para tenerlo cerca si quieres tener mejores resultados, creo que por el tamaño y consumo de energía tiene una gran relación calidad precio, aunque si estas buscando calentar un espacio muy grande deberías ver otras opciones. En general muy contento con el producto ademas que la marca tiene prestigio.
