Q: I am very small/petite. Is this belt small enough for very small waists?

The stretch belt is adjustable and I believe it would adjust to your small waist.

Q: Has anyone purchased this after owning the plastic invisibelt (same brand)? If so, do you like the stretch better?

I like the stretch better. It is more comfortable than the plastic and has a better feel. The only thing I like better about the plastic is the color.

Q: I am unable to open the belt. How am I suppose to insert in pants loops when it won't open.

I had the same problem for a minute. It just takes a twisty motion to open. However, once open it's not the easiest to get through belt loops. Put opposing thumbs on each tab and twist. Hope this helps

Q: Does it smell like the plastic one?

I have both the clear plastic and the black stretch and no I did not notice any smell with the black one.
