Spectra Premium F28A Fuel Tank

Fits perfect. Identical to original.

Good tank. Not great packaging. 1966 mustang convertible was restored back to new condition almost 20 years ago. It had a brand new tank put in it then that rusted badly from sitting for the last eight years. This tank appears to be exactly the same. It even has the same made in Canada stickers. I’m sure it’s the same model from the same company. It arrived with bends all around the edges. I was able to use hammers and beat all the bends back out. Laid in the car pretty well. Fit well. Came with the rubber seal and locking ring for the sending unit. The seal worked well when I installed the new sending unit. Would have given five stars but for the bad packaging that caused the bent edges.

Perfect fit to replace the old tank in my car. Came with a new lock ring and gasket.

Perfect fit for my 68 GT 500KR. Did come with some bent flanges that were easily straightened with duckbill pliers. Very good value.

Perfect replacement for the original 51 year old tank, however I ended up reusing the old O ring from when I replaced the fuel sender 3 years ago: the O ring supplied was too loose to fit snug for the reinstallation of the fuel sender.
