Good tasting water
Love my Santevia pitcher so much I bought a second one for work. Definitely can taste the difference in the water!

Was as expected.
Decent value. Looks nice, the water though seems to filter much faster then some competitors which made me curious but I have not done a water test on the water.I wish it came with a little tester like its major competitor has.Water tastes better then the tap though.

I am on love with this thing
I purchased this jug about a month ago...I am on love with this thing. The water is the cleanest I have tasted. ...I used to only drink certain types of bottled water and hated the taste of Brita water....was so pleasantly suprised how much I like this water. I had no troubles putting it together...although clear pictures of how to do it would be nice. Fills up at least 2 of my 28 oz water bottles, fits easily in the fridge and is a very nice design with multiple colour choices! The only downside for me is the filter lasts 60 days and to buy 3 replacements was about the same price as the jug....but well worth it. It also has a digital date count down from when you put the filter in so you know when to change it....the only question I had was how to change the battery. Has a nice filler hole so you don't have to take the lid off the fill.....this is awesome for lazy people like me!

Wonderful!
I've had this pitcher for quite awhile now and think it does a great job! Typically, I take filtered water and pour it in there, but that's mostly because I wasn't too sure exactly what the pitcher would filter (plus it doesn't hurt to double filter the water). Anyways, the point is to make water alkaline, and it does exactly that! With a brand new filter, I got it up to 9.6, I believe which is fantastic! When the filter starts to taper down, my lowest was 8.1 and I changed the filter at that point. I wouldn't base TOO much off the indicator at the top of the pitcher. It just ticks off time vs how much you're using it. Best bet is to buy an alkaline tester and see how it's performing. I was able to use the filter past the lid's "expiration" point.I only wish the thing was bigger.

Not What I Hoped For
I purchased the Santeria Water Pitcher in the hopes of achieving 9-9.5 alkaline water. When I measured the water with ph strips it was at best 8. I am disappointed because my whole point of purchasing this pitcher was to drink alkaline water at the higher levels to help with reflux issues.
