Boss CH-1 Super Chorus Bundle with Power Adapter, 10ft Instrument Cable, 6in Patch Cable, and Picks

I already had a Boss Super Chorus before I purchased this one. I already knew what I was getting but it never hurts to say that this pedal is quality built and sounds great like all Boss products. This is an easy choice considering the many choices one has with all the Chorus pedals available. Great value

I'd never used this particular chorus pedal before, bought it on a whim. I really do like it, it's not quite thick enough of an effect for me (I prefer that wild "Nirvana-esque" chorus sound, but I'll be purchasing the super chorus next to see if I like it any better. I do love the fact that It can be used as a stereo chorus, and that the Boss pedal board I have it installed to supports the cabling required! Overall, great Boss quality as I'd expect.

I have had other pedals from this company and this one is just as well built and sturdy as their others. I have had some pedals that felt cheap, but this company knows what they are doing. The effects are awesome sounding. All of the little extras like picks and cloth were fun, but not necessary. Do not pay extra for them.

Got this pedal as a gift for my brother. Does not come with any of the cables or pics mentioned in the advert. It is impossible to use a pedal without them

Note: I'd give this unit 4-1/2 stars if Amazon had a half option. It's a very good unit, but not quite "perfect."The CE-5 has a very clean and variable chrous tone. I am especially impressed with how quiet it is as compared to lesser units (i.e. my old Berhingher now given to a friend). The build quality is typical Boss such that you could support your car with it while changing a tire; Boss makes some very rugged stuff. My only disappointment is that the chorus effect is relatively moderate, even with the depth and level set to max. I watched a YouTube demo and this seems to be how the unit performs. I don't expect to need a wild chorus effect, so this is hopefully not a problem (for me). But other users who like LOTS of chorus effect may not be satisfied with this unit.I thought the high and low filters would be a gimmick but found them to be very useful. Let the treble chime through when faking a 12 string, turn it down for other tunes.

The combination of E.Level, Rate and Depth, provide a wide range of Chorus effects like you would expect. Then add the Filter with the Cut/Fat effects and you have an excellent foot pedal for the price. A great amount of control for a compact foot pedal.

Its a decent chorus, but doesn't even make my top three though it's the most expensive I have.Pros: the modes give it versatility. It has a few good sounds in it.Cons: Prohibitively expensive especially for what it is. Good sounds, but not as good as some that are more reasonably priced. Noisier than two that I have that are more reasonably priced. The most annoying thing is a huge volume boost when engaged. I understand wanting to counter balance volume drops of similar pedals, but a little more r and d could have brought them closer to unity gain.Overall, a decent pedal, but for the price a huge disappointment. I give it 3 stars. If it weren't so expensive I'd consider giving it 4 stars, but there are better product out there for much less money.
