Very easy to use
I love the way it calculates your jump movements and time frame. It was very easy to set up and use. It’s great for small spaces and I don’t have the frustration of tripping over the rope. A good start for beginners thus it will allow you to progress to the longer cord with confidence. I love it!

Easy to assemble
I love how easy this was to assemble, and the digital component, which helps me keep track of my laps.

Must read - most convenient cardio exercise in my basement
The jump rope is flexibly used indoors or outdoors. This Cordless Jump is the most convenient cardio exercise in my basement. I get a more efficient cardio exercise every time. The adjustable length design can is no need for cutting and can adjust quickly according to my height when I'm using it outdoor. The main handle is has a LCD display that provides me a clear view of the rope skipping data, like skip time or total skips. There are two batteries that comes with the jump rope which is a bonus. The wrapped steel rope is suitable for my basement floor and the foam handles give me comfortable touch and non-slip when exercising.

Good grip, accurate single skip counting
I use skip ropes regularly, but when wanting to workout inside, my ceiling is too low in my basement, so the indoor weight option is what attracted me to this SELVIN skipping rope.So out of the box, the two handles with one with the skipping control, including a CR2032 battery for the rope, plus a 2nd replacement one, two plastic ropes and two weighted rope, 4 rubber ends ans 2x mini replacement screws. The instructions are complete, but I got the hold of the digital functions by playing with it.I immediately installed the weighted ropes for my workout, setup my weight and simply started jumping, doing my Double-Unders.The weighted ropes really simulate the skipping, feeling it in my arms, shoulders and cardio! Loved it!Well, according to the count, I did pretty much doubled the count, so it’s efficient, as I was doing Double-Unders and not singles. For example, I did 30 D-Unders, it wrote 68. But I kind of take my rythme with one or 2 singles at the beginning, so it’s pretty accurate to me.I believe that if you want to use to counting feature, only single skips can be done. I’ve been doing double for more than 10 years, so I’ll use that one for inside weight skipping and continue to count on my own.The textured rubber handles provide a good grip when skipping.Still a great rope to use if you do single skips, no double-unders for counts. And under $20 too!

Desperately needs instructions
As of now, there's only one other review for this skipping rope, and pretty much everything they said about it is either flat-out wrong or simply shows their lack of understanding how to use one of these. And it's not entirely their fault, as this comes with no instructions whatsoever. To get the most out of it, you're going to have to do a bunch of searching online.Pros:Has roped/ropeless options. Switching back and forth, and adjusting the length, are VERY easy - IF you know how.Has a multi-function computer that lets you track lots of stuff - again, IF you know how to use it. Also includes 2 CR2032 batteries for the computer.Has removable handle weights to increase/decrease difficulty. Now, this is where you REALLY need some instructions, because this setup is unique in my experience. Usually, you just twist off the end caps to access the weights, but in this case you have to pull back the silicon wrap, then remove 2 tiny screws, and THEN the end cap comes off. It's a ridiculous design, and a total pain to work with, but such is life.Since the handles are straight cylinders they'll work for any size hands. Fancy contoured handles MAY allow a more secure/comfortable grip, but only if they are the exact right dimensions for your hand. These are universal. The rope is standard aircraft cable, so if it wears out you can get a replacement length at pretty much any industrial supply shop. If you're luck, maybe even your local hardware store.Cons:Removing/adding the weight is a total pain, but it's not the kind of thing you'll probably do too often, so it's not a deal breaker.Complete lack of instructions wouldn't usually be an insurmountable problem, but with the way the weights are it becomes a serious drawback. Conclusion:For the price ($15) it's not bad, but you really need to know what you're dealing with.
