I tried this product as I’m a fan of the Yum umbrella rig, and had high expectations for this product. The product is very similar in appearance but the durability and build quality is half of what the Yum umbrella rig is. I would recommend the product if it was half the price of the original umbrella rig, but at this price point, I would save your money and stick with another rig such as the one made by Yum.

I have friends who swear by the Alabama (Umbrella) rig because it looks like a swimming school of baitfish. The rig hasn't produced for me yet, but I believe that is only because I haven't used it enough! This kit comes with everything you need: rig, hooks, jigs, and soft baits in two colors. This rig has something others don't, a spinning blade on each arm.

I suggest only using this in the clean open water to avoid having to clean much off of it. I have been using my fish finder to get on a school, then dropping it straight down and reeling it in just before it hits the bottom. I have had a lot of success with this.
