Work but weak.
I needed several struts to hold up access doors for a chicken coop. Doors weigh 16# each. So believing the specs, I first ordered 10# struts. Fail. No resistance at all. Second was 22#. One should have been enough but even 2 couldn't hold open. Lastly I got these 45# ones. One almost held it open but couldn't. I paired with one of the 22# and finally success.So my experience with multiple vendors is none of these cheap Chinese struts are rated correctly.

Do not work right out of the box
I am beyond annoyed. I pulled these out to install them on a toy box and they do not compress. I researched to see if I was missing something but it seems they are just not good. A complete waste of time.
