This product works well to prevent inflammation and doesn’t sting much or at all during application on compromised skin, but skin sometimes stings/problem areas feel hot as the product takes effect once this has already been rinsed off. When this after effect occurs, it helps to apply a gentle moisturizer and/or aloe to cool skin.
