Good for the price
This lock is perfect for your side gate, landscaper access, trash gate - stuff like that. Don't use it as a high security lock.Easy to dial in - give it some love (WD-40) before you hang it. ❤️🔒

Good value for the price!
These locks didn't have many reviews so I was really curious how good they were especially compared to all the other discus combination locks out there and there's a lot of them but sometimes different sellers will sell the same exact products basically but just put their name on what they sell or have a totally different price but these locks are definitely different than others like the Delswin ones which I had previously bought 2 of before and I like very much and I'm still using them today actually so personally I'm a fan of these discus style locks which those costed me $12 each about in comparison to these which I just bought 5 Factor duty ones for basically $5 each or 5 for $25 basically which is a great deal in my opinion and which is why I ordered them and ordered 5 and not just 1 to get the better deal even though they didn't have the best reviews but the reviews were very limited with only 3 people actually commenting and 2 of the 3 gave really negative reviews but after comparing these to the Delswin versions for example here's the differences that I notice even though I just barely got these locks recently, these ones have a much bigger thumb sliding mechanism which can be good and bad both because it should make it easier for someone to actually get a grip on and slide the mechanism open and closed but at the same time it would make it easier for a potential thief to try to slide it as well or to possibly try to smash it with a hammer or a wrench to get it to break and slide over potentially plus with the larger thumb sliding mechanism the opening part where the mechanism moves back and forth in is much wider and that makes it stick out more and easier to potentially cut your thumb on it like another reviewer did I believe, the upper inside area of the open part can be sharp and that can happen, I literally just opened and closed these 5 locks about 100x or more total just to break them in a little bit and to see how they work and I was rubbing my thumb over all the sharp openings also on purpose and my thumb is almost cut now also but it's not bleeding but I was kind of almost trying to cut my thumb actually to see if it would get cut or not easily and it's a little bit cut but not bleeding but that was my fault, just in daily use you're not going to be sliding your thumb back and forth 100 times within about a minute like that obviously and the dial numbers are much bigger on this lock also compared to others which can be good or bad as well because it will definitely make it a lot easier for the user to turn the dials with their thumb to get their correct combination in no doubt about it but at the same time it will make it easier for a potential thief to try to decode or figure out your combination as well and the numbers will more easily hit something else while your lock is in use when the dials are protruding much more on these locks like they are compared to others where the number dials are much more flush with the lock so this lock is different in that sense as well, other discus combination locks can be harder to turn so some people might like these better actually, regarding if it's easy or difficult to change the combination code to whatever you want I had no issues at all with any of the 5 locks that I bought but I do have experience using these types of locks so I already knew how to do it but I have no problems changing the code and it's really simple and I've actually done it multiple times for each lock just to see if there's any problems with it and I've had no issues at all in this sense and on the back on these locks there's a smaller round protruding portion that says "China stainless steel" on it where my other Delswin locks don't have that part at all which probably actually doesn't affect the locks at all really but I just wanted to point that out, I believe that small round slightly protruding section on the back would be more appropriate for these discus locks that use keys instead of combination ones to accommodate the round keyed core but these specific locks are definitely different for sure than other discus combination locks and they all might be very similar but also a little bit different from each other but the weight of each of these lock feels exactly the same as my other discus locks and I have multiple keyed discus locks also which feel the same weight too so if anyone says that the weight is less on these locks and because of that the quality or value is less I believe in that particular sense that wouldn't be accurate but for $5 each I think this is a pretty good deal, I would probably take away 1 star for the large thumb sliding mechanism that could cut you more easily and be a bigger target for a potential thief who might want to try to bust open your lock, I would take away 1 star also for a slightly less overall new fit and finish maybe and I would take away 1 star for having maybe not the best or smoothest sliding or locking mechanism that's not quite as consistent as maybe more expensive similar discus combination locks even though there might not actually be any difference really so I will add that star back in because after playing with them a little bit more they're definitely more smooth now and I can always put some 3-in-One oil or WD-40 in each of these which you should do anyways and I would definitely add 1 star back in also because of the increase in value because you get more locks for your money with these factor duty locks because you're getting basically 5 locks for the price of 1, 2 or 3 other combination locks from most other sellers and if you bought 24 of these locks they would basically only cost you about $3.75 each only according to the current $89.99 bulk price which would be even better so if you don't have the money to spend for more expensive locks or if you don't want to spend a lot for other more expensive locks you might want to try these, if you don't believe other locks are worth the increase in price you could try these also so I would give these locks probably a solid good rating of 4 out of 5 in my opinion and the only real legit negative would be I think the sliding mechanism that could potentially cut you because the other negatives are not really worth stating or decreasing the rating much for but the value is there for the price and I have no idea if they will be as secure if not more secure or less secure than other similar locks or if the insides are made as good or not because only time will tell on all that and I don't have the luxury of being able to look inside without damaging or destroying the locks which I won't do anyways because I do intend to use them but I think they're a pretty solid deal if someone wants or needs multiple combination locks, if they like discus locks in particular, if they're worried that somebody might actually destroy their locks if they have a lot of trespassers on their property like I have and for who don't want to lose something that costed them a lot of money and if they don't want to use keyed locks because they lose the keys maybe or for whatever reason these factor duty 70 mm discus combination locks can definitely be a potential solution for you.

Solid
A good, solid lock for my store room. It is great to no longer have to worry if I brought the right keys with me. The combo setting is very straightforward.

Needs instructions mailed with the lock
There were no instructions mailed with the lock. Our Son had to come over and google it up to know how to get it unlocked then to set the lock to open with our combination
