Voltage Transformer Converter 3000 Watt Step Up/Down Convert from 110-120 Volt to 220-240 Volt and from 220-240 Volt to 110-120 Volt with 3 US Outlets, 3 Universal Outlets

We are very pleased with this transformer. We have periodic power failures, and when the power is off, we cannot draw water from our well, which has a 220v AC submersible pump. We have a small portable Wen 3250W generator which can provide 115v power. In a power failure, we plug the well pump control into this transformer, and the transformer into the generator, and it works fine; allowing us to draw water as usual. We previously tried this using a 500 Watt transformer but that was too small and its breaker kept tripping. Please note one other review claims the 220v output is DC, not AC; but that is not correct. It is AC.

This transformer is great for common household appliances as it can easily be used on a standard 120 volt 20 amp circuit in the US. You just have to make sure that the input wire gauge is sized correctly for 20 amps.

Bought it for my European expensive Jura expresso coffee machine. I got a 2000W converter for my machine which is 1400w. Was working perfectly for 11 months. It has a limited 1 year warranty. I contacted the company and I should have news in 48hres. I will put an update here.Follow up: change my rating from 1 star to 4 starsThe company was quick to respond (24 hres). They offered me to buy a 3000W converter instead of 2000W and they refund me US$75.99 (the value of the 2000W converter) which is a fare deal.

The media could not be loaded. At first I purchased according to an instruction I would receive from the company of the coffee machine I bought. I didn't know how dangerous, ineffective, and inefficient these devices are. And here is a fact, it is falling apart. It also burned my $400 coffee maker. I will make sure to give comments about this converter wherever people know that it is a danger to life, and negligent to sell such a thing!!!

I'm satisfied with this purchase. The converter is still working for several months now.

Instructions were useless. When converting 220 to 110 you have to use both AC1 and AC2 as the L2/N on both inputs are joined internally. You have to put L1 on AC1 L1, and L2 on AC2 L1 then short N to GND (loose wire, NOT the white wire in your cable as you will blow a breaker) otherwise the 110V out was reversed as N was floating.
