Nice unit
The overall construction is good and comes with all the necessary parts and extra screws and nuts. Also the required tools are included. The instructions are not very clear (literally the printed copy is black and white so the pictures are difficult to understand). I tried the link to find the instructions online but i wasn't able to find this particular model from the large list of models from this manufacturer. I assembled the motors on the outside to make the whole unit wider and it still works as if the motors where on the inside, so great flexibility.

⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ Good Frame, but the Tread Instructions Are Basically Unusable
I bought this tracked RC tank chassis kit mainly for a PN‑TANK prototype, and while the frame itself is solid and absolutely usable, the tread system was a non‑starter for me. The instructions included in the box are a low‑quality photocopy — the images are so washed out and blurry that you can’t actually see how the tread links are supposed to assemble. It’s one of those situations where the diagrams technically exist, but they’re functionally invisible. Because of that, I ended up skipping the treads entirely. The good news: the frame is still worth using. It’s sturdy, the metal plates are straight, and the mounting holes line up well with TT motors and standard robotics hardware. I repurposed the chassis with my own TT motor wheels, and it turned into a perfectly workable platform for testing steering logic, motor drivers, and PhoenixNetwork node layouts.

Terrible instructions
It’s easy enough to figure out if you understand simple circuits but the instructions are absolutely garbage. I bought this for my son for a school project and the paper “instructions” if you want to call them that, say to go to a link for additional help. This particular model is not even listed. The instructions are such bad English that they are actually funny. “Assemble wheel. Assemble 3 other parts. Finish. So easy!” Actually gave me a chuckle.

it comes with an encoder wheel, but no detectors to read the encoder
I like this product. Assembly was well documented, including how to adjust the length of the tracks. BUT: I am going to have to build an IR detector to read the encoders as there is none included, nor is there any information on accessories in the supplied documentation. The single sheet that comes with it says there are documents online at sposmart.com, however there is nothing about this unit on that page.

NO INSTRUCTIONS AND BAD TOLERANCES
DOES NOT COME WITH INSTRUCTIONS, Its easy to figure out how to assemble if you look at some of these other robots instructions they have for other products (which are all terrible) but there website has no instructions on how to build this. Also had to drill larger holes into the chassis myself as the some of them were not large enough. There are definitely better products that do the same thing for less money..

Having good instructions to actually put it together and see what parts to use etc
Instructions weren't clear

No point to including slotted optical encoding disks? The motors don't actually have encoders.
I guess we will see how un-even these cheap motors are. BUT... lets talk about the fact these motors are advertised to be rotary encoding motors, and they come with slotted optical encoding disks. They are just plain DC 6v motors with an extra disk that does nothing. You can't do closed-loop PID control with them, so there's no point in pretending they are encoding motors. How the motors mount to the chassis is pretty janky The holes in the chassis don't interface with the motors in any structural way, all the work is done by TWO screws per motor to keep them aligned. The extensions that connect drive sprockets to the motor shaft use a set screw to secure to the shaft... except the shaft isn't long enough to reach where the set screw would work. I'm not sure this chassis kit is better than the 2-motor 12-volt versions or not. It's incredibly hard to find educational robotics chassis that aren't awful.
