Great Buy
Bought this bad boy to cool me down during the latest heatwave. It certainly does the job too! 3 blower settings and it osculates cooling the whole room down. The highest fan speed blows quite strong and it keeps you cool. It’s quite tall too which makes it better for the fan blower reaching over a high bed and mattress. 👍🏼😀👍🏼

There are some flaws, but a solid tower fan
I spent hours at the start of the UK's heatwave looking for a fan that was nice and powerful, but also tall enough for what I needed it for.I looked at ones that were £200, with 100W motors, but were only 25" or so tall, the same as I looked at £50 fans that had 30W motors, but were 50" tall.I ended up taking a risk on this one, as it was in the middle of the pack, at 46" tall and having a 45W motor, while being sold (at my time of purchase) for £80. At my time of purchase, this also only had a handful of reviews on it.This fan does need some light assembly, with the base needing to be fitted and the power-cord needing to be "threaded" through the base. It took all of 5 minutes, if that - extremely simple. It has a nice display panel, telling you the current temperature, mode and fan speed. One small nitpick here is that the display can only be turned off with the included remote control as there doesn't seem to be a physical button on the fan itself for this.As for the buttons and the remote, you can set the mode of the fan, with the only one I really used being the "permanent on", you can set whether the fan oscillates or not and you can set the speed of the fan.Even during the peak of the heatwave, I didn't have the fan on maximum output as it was very loud in my small bedroom and drowned out whatever I was trying to watch or listen to.As for the other modes the fan can do, the "sleep" mode is really silly and not worth using as it ramps the fan up to maximum, then slowly reduces the speed, only to repeat the process. If you're a light sleeper, this will wake you up.The "timer" mode pretty much does what you'd expect.Another small issue/nitpick here is that, like a lot of fans, the remote control and fan use the same IR band as your typical TV remote, so if your fan is placed near your TV or other remote-controlled device, you will very likely turn the fan on/off when trying to turn your other device on/off.Apart from those couple of nitpicks and useless "sleep mode", this was well worth a purchase for the sweltering heat we've experienced this year.

Quiet
We got this for the bedroom during summerPro: it's got a wide oscillation range Takes up very little floor space Remote works well Sleep mode - led turns offCon: very loud beeping noise each press of the remote buttons (wakes baby up)I'm not sure how quiet it is because I use sound machine to sleep and can use the sound of this fan as a sound machine and my husband can sleep through a hurricane so the noise doesn't bother him

A Good Purchase
With the news that temperatures in the UK were due to hit record levels, we bought two of these - 1 upstairs, 1 downstairs - to keep our pets cool and less than 24hrs later, we're very happy that we did. They are extremely easy to assemble. The base is connected with 4 wing-nuts so no tools required. Just be sure that you have the flex gap positioned at the back - my error on the 2nd assemble due to not paying attention! The room temperature is displayed and it appears that the fan has an automatic temperature adjustment as there is no manual option but the air produced is delightfully cool.At full blowing speed, the fan is noisier but not disruptive if you're watching television or chatting. At low speed it is much quieter but could disrupt sleep if you're a light sleeper like I am. As such, we went for the option of cooling the rooms before bedtime and this worked a treat. The oscillating option is decent and careful positioning upstairs meant the one fan was able to cool all three bedrooms. This was on high speed but using the 'natural air' option which was less disturbing for the animals. If you choose to have it on through the night, the LED display can be switched off but this can only be done via the remote control which has a good range and is a good addition if you're comfy and don't want to move in order to reduce fan speed or switch off.All in all, these fans - so far - have been a great purchase. The only negative I have is not with the items but with the delivery time. These come direct from the seller and we received them a day later than advised. Not a huge problem in the grand scheme of things but worth keeping in mind if your purchase is urgent.

Absolutely outstanding fan
If you want a fan what can cool you down this is by far the best one you can get, it's lovely and cooling, you can have it oscillating, it has a few settings, you have 3 settings for the speed and the first one is lovely enough, it has the room temperaturewhich is a bonus, definitely getting another in a month or so, would highly recommend

Absolutely amazing.
I went out on a limb when I bought this fan, because it had only one review although it was positive. The Fan is ready good and powerful and very quiet, the main reason I got it was for my dogs as they were really struggling with the heat.It is very easy to assemble and to operate, and just with the air circulation the temperature in my living room dropped by several degrees. The large angle that it has is really nice this creates good circulation for a very large aria. With the sleep mode the light turns off automatically or you can turn it off with the remote control if you want. I have a decent size bedroom of 5x4 meters, and on the lowest setting it easily keep it cool and comfortable. My living room is 6x5 meters and high ceilings and I really have to use the second setting and usually the low setting it more then enough. I’m absolutely impressed with this fan, and would definitely recommend it.

Powerful and great height
This fan is everything you need in a fan. The only downside is that after 2 weeks it starting becoming noisy like the motor is rattling on occasion which is really annoying. I’m just glad I didn’t buy it for the bedroom
