Review: These are the best insoles ever! I have them in all my shoes! - These are literally the most comfortable insoles that I have ever tried! I have bought every type of Dr. Scholls insoles and these running insoles are the most comfortable. The arch support is the perfect height. The cushioning is the most shock absorbent. I have tried many other brands that were more expensive and I always ended up returning them and ordering these instead. I don't run! It just so happens that the running insoles are the most comfortable for any purpose, and these are so great that they make cheap shoes feel like really comfortable expensive shoes. I put a pair of these in my dress shoes, my walking shoes, my hiking boots, my work boots, etc. I literally have a pair of these in all my shoes/ boots. They last a really long time, but I have to keep buying more because I keep buying more boots and shoes and I want a new pair of these in my new shoes for optimum comfort, no matter how much the shoes or boots cost. They really are the best!!! Buy them and you will be hooked too.
Review: Scholl love you for these (see what I did there?) - I mean, they still have tread and other than being made paranoid by my running app that tells me I need to buy new shoes at a minimum of $80 (app prefers Asics. I appreciate the extra anxiety in my life. I just buy secondhand.), I have no problems. I'm 34 years young (problems on the way, I know), and log about 60 miles a month. Tore my ACL and meniscus years ago. I concede, I can't feel my menicuses (menisces? menisci? ...who cares, you know what I'm saying) being turned into grit. Soooo, I've opted for these in my past 4 pairs of shoes...until there is unsafe levels of tread left on the shoes (that's 2 pairs of running shoes, 1 pair of work shoes [learning young people], and some station boots [career change]). The construction of "running" brand shoes isn't impressive. They all have their trademarked names for the "technology," but uhh, PTFE (goretex/teflon) is a household name. I don’t know a household polymer name for comfy feet. I do know Dr. Scholl’s delivers 3 scoops in a chocolate waffle cone while The Shoe Company gives a taste on a popsicle stick and slaps a trademark on it. I'm probably a fool for buying anything other than what's out at Costco. How much support am I losing? It'd take some major facts to make me think these major running brand shoes are actually doing anything some off-brand can't (graphs and tables and stuff...with lots of colors). I mean is (your favorite shoe company) that invested in anything other than enticing you to think it’s shoes are great? There are plenty of ways to do that without added material/labor costs that are much cheaper than making decent shoes. Anyway, these insoles are fantastic. They put my mind at ease, and feel like a legitimate attempt by a company investing in supporting my lower extremities for their own financial gain. Everybody wins. I like the “high vis” green color that I can see when I am not wearing them too. It's like a landing strip for my ground beaters. They feel great, and it’s your fault if they don’t because you didn’t follow directions. I can feel the wonderful squishiness without feeling like I'm going to squish uncontrollably and roll my ankle...again (they won’t prevent that…also your and my fault). At the end of the run...it's the end of the run. I squish my way inside home and go to work with my DR. SCHOLL'S working-guy-man-bear-occasionally-unsure! insoles. I approve this message, and I wish someone paid me.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Is there much difference between running insoles and sport massaging gel?**
A: That would probably depend on your personal need for arch support.
These running insoles have high and firm arch support and more adequate for heavier set people who may even have an issue with plantar fasciitis. The sport massage one just adds additional gel support throughout the foot without targeting specific areas.

**Q: How does the athletic series compare to the active series?**
A: Hi! The products are the same. Just the packaging is different.

**Q: I will use the insoles for walking 5 miles a day and golf 3 times per week. Which athletic series would be a better choice.. running or sport ??**
A: The running have best arch support. See the light blue piece in the arch area? That is hard, durable plastic. It doesn’t bother or hurt when wearing. I have plantar facitis (spelling?). My podiatrist recommends these for my everyday walking. I have tried other brands & types & was dissatisfied.

**Q: I wear a size 10.5. do i need to buy the large and trim the toes, or will the medium still work (although it only goes up to size 10)?**
A: I wear a 10.5 running shoe and the men’s 7.5 to 10 fit without needing to be trimmed.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good Support
*by T***L on May 9, 2019*

The size is printed on the insole where you trim the line and this makes them easy to cut properly for your shoe. Today I walked 3 miles and found them to be comfortable. The added support helps keep your feet from tiring out and feeling the impact of your weight with each step. My first experience using them is positive. UPDATE: January 2020 Signs of wear that causes foot irritation and holes in socks after alternating shoes worn beginning in August and these insoles were first used in March 2019. Total miles walked is estimated at around 250-275. So these insoles have lasted pretty well. I started wearing another pair of these insoles in August, as stated, but alternating the shoes I wore means I probably have around 150-175 miles on them at this point. I replaced this first pair pictured here the first of February 2020. UPDATE: July 2020 This pair has worn out with abrasive spots on the ball and heel of the insole that rub holes in socks quickly and then cause blisters. I estimate this pair (I wear another pair of shoes as I alternate with the same brand insoles) has around 130 miles on them of the 260 I have walked this year. This is not nearly as good as I have been getting so I am surprised at the wear and cannot explain or understand them wearing out so fast. My newest pair have been in use less than a month and while I await the new replacements I'll be swapping insoles between shoes.
