A great product that burned well, and hopefully will keep well, but only time will tell. I printed on these with my Epson R260 printer, a 6 color Claria Hi-def ink system, and was impressed with the results. I was skeptical that the ink would hold-up on this non-paper surface, but it dried quickly, looked sharp [depending on your image & adjustments] and is now fairly scratch resistant. Doing some fingernail scratch testing [from recently trimmed nails], the color held-up well to normal pressure, only seeing evidence of those scrapes in certain angles in the light. Only under heavy pressure where I had to 'dig-in', did the color layer push off, but left the primary support of the white layer intact. The white support layer indented somewhat under further heavy scratching, and did not give way easily. It was only in this weakened area that I could finally get down to the plastic with further pressure. The same pressure on the white layer in areas that were not weakened by previous scratching did not scratch off to the plastic. My fingernails didn't have an affect on the data side of the DVD. Though scratching the data side on some surfaces, resulted in small 'wear' scratches as CDs and DVDs do, but it didn't affect the way my computer read the data. Overall the DVD construction seems to be durable against normal handling and some mishandling and I hope the DataLifePlus will continue to do it's job in the future.

Printable disks are getting hard to find these days. Interestingly that comes at a time when there are actually more printers featuring disk printing capability. It used to be Epson had a lock on printers that could print directly to a CD or DVD but now several current Canon models do the same thing (and may I say they do it more dependably that the several Epsons I've owned). I waited to write this until I had used at least a few disks, and actually by now I've used most of them and not one reject. Of course I would expect that from Verbatim. The print quality is professional looking and doesn't smear.

DVD-R disks are fine. The spindle case is a little thin, and the first delivery arrived damaged. However, the Amazon replacement came almost instantly, and they removed all original charges. Returning the damaged item was unbelievably easy and fast. (No smartphone needed.) I did indeed buy some additional items at the return location (I chose Whole Foods). I had indicated on Amazon's return questionnaire that it was not an important aspect of the return-location choice, so I'll have to rethink that! In summary, the product is fine; the replacement came almost instantly, and Amazon's customer service was top notch!

These disks are great. I don't get even one bad disk out of a hundred. There are many reasons why some users complain of bad disks. They could have issues with their hardware or software. It is important to keep your hardware's firmware up to date. If you are multi-tasking while you are burning DVD disks, you need lots of RAM memory for good results. I also like the inkjet printable surfaces that print right up to the hub- makes for creative labels. Sam's Club used to sell Verbatim printable disks but they switched to Memorex. The last 100 Memorex I bought there had about a 20% failure rate. And now, they don't even offer inkjet printable disks. Verbatim's are the best I have used. I highly recommend this product.

I am a wedding videographer, and always burn a disc to dvd and bluray. For years, I've used Verbatim discs, and I have never once had a bad disc. Over 500 burned, not one bad one. What aggravates me is that I've been using Full Face DVD Labels by Avery, and while I always liked the look of these, I always thought it was missing something. I felt like I could look better. Then somehow, I ran across these discs! I print using a Canon Pixma Pro-100, which I absolutely love, and I quickly designed my first disc cover using Photoshop, and printed thru software included with the printer. WOW. Seriously. I should have buried my head in shame that I ever used anything else. I immediately ordered another 50, and then ordered 50 printable Verbatim bluray discs as well. Unbelievable to me that after years of video and photography these things have somehow slipped by me. Why the heck did Amazon not ever recommend them? I love how my photos look on these discs, and better yet, I finally FEEL as professional as my videos actually are when I hand over the discs. I love these things. After 40 discs, and not a bad one yet, I'm sold for life. Unfortunately, now I have 92 non-printables and some full face labels that I need to sell! :)
