When I started linocut I was sad because of how expensive the speedball ones are which are the most common. But they are $6 a piece. I haven’t tried the white blocks in this pack yet but i loved the pink ones even better to carve than speedball because they’re a tad less soft so it’s more difficult to slip on accident and mess up when carving. I carved 3 blocks, i cut them in half first. Printed with them for my first print ever and turned out perfectly!!!

These blocks are amazing! Easy to carve, cheap and accessible. I will buy them over and over, and the inclusion of the knife is a really nice bonus.

The two-toned one is a little more difficult to carve on (as far as texture), and if you are a shallow carver - the contrast won't be there. Pink carves okay. Still not my favorite carving medium, but the price is good when you are carving to hide for Letterboxing. (2AussMom)

The media could not be loaded. This kit is perfect for my needs and a great value for the price! The rubber blocks are thick, durable and sturdy. The rubber doesn’t crumble while carving. I’ve experimented with both blocks and find that the white rubber blocks are easier to carve through than the pink ones. I’m a beginner and I was able to successfully create my first rubber stamp with this kit! The only complaint that I have is that the craft knife included in the set is a bit flimsy. Overall, I’m satisfied with my results and highly recommend these rubber blocks to beginners who are eager to get started rubber carving!
