Have the complaints been rectified regarding sending a fleetpride filter instead of a onan filter?

I purchased the filter in person at an Onan parts warehouse and it was a Fleetguard filter in the box. So, it seems that Onan has switched to using Fleetguard as their fuel filter.

Which end is the "fuel inlet" as its not marked on the filter and no instructions?

I don't know I take my RV to the shop for oil and fuel filter change

is anyone using this filter to substitute for onan 0149-2834 on the onan 3200 quiet diesel generator?

I do not believe this is the filter for that Genset. Onan has a downloadable brochure which show all the part numbers for each model. Easy to find on website, they you will know exactly what one you need.
